7 Rugby at the Olympics
I'm just curious: will some of you watch 7 Rugby at the Olympics?
It will be from the 6th to the 11th of August, during the beginning of pre-season and is really fun to watch: 7minutes halftime, non-stop action, downhill running, wild game (and the US are pretty good at this version of rugby): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RsQrPVcwGg

Re: 7 Rugby at the Olympics
I love me some Rugby. Didn't know it was in the Olympics. I will definitely try to catch some of that.

Re: 7 Rugby at the Olympics
Yeah it's a first. But it's not "real" rugby, 15 on 15, it's 7 on 7 Rugby, and because they play on the same field, same size, there's lot more space so it's fun to watch.
I think the Olympics didn't want to add Rugby because there are already a lot of international competitions and the Olympics wouldn't have matter. It would be like soccer, it's at the Olympics but nobody cares because there are other soccer competitions that matter more. But 7 Rugby is less known than 15 Rugby, so they decided to take a shot. I guess.
