Believe me I'd rather have won 2 out of 3 but...

Re: 2024 MLB Thread
The 9th inning was a bitch back-to-back games (2 different reasons, both still extremely frustrating).
Last game Minter had to pitch in the 9th, he fucked that game up too. Nothing like watching 8.5 innings of baseball just to blow it in the bottom of 9th.

Re: 2024 MLB Thread
Hello, darkness, my old friend. Best pitcher and everyday player both out for the season before the all-star break. Can't wait to see how we get fucked next.

Re: 2024 MLB Thread
Well 2023 was fun while it lasted. Yankees putting their foot down this year. Maybe O’s can get in through the wild card

Re: 2024 MLB Thread
Red Sox fan here and I watch every game. It amazes me how poor outfield arms are today. Aaron Judge is the only outfielder I've seen in weeks, perhaps months, whose throw home was actually at the plate. Sox have a fast team for once and they routinely send runners that should be held. They most often score because the throw is nearly always off target.
Anyone else notice this? |

Re: 2024 MLB Thread
I'm getting to the point where I don't even like my favorite team. That lost tonight was one of the biggest bitch-ass losses I've ever seen. Back-to-back bunts in the 10th. Fucking pussies. And now it's bunt-gate where we're trying to figure out of Snitker called the squeeze or if somehow Kelenic/Laureano orchestrated it themselves. Also, Laureano should never be allowed on a baseball field again based on the bottom of the 10th. That motherfucker ran 5 feet past a lazy fly-ball. Never seen that before in the big leagues.

Re: 2024 MLB Thread
To be fair that part of the outfield at Citi Field can be tricky, the wind can push balls back from foul to fair and vice versa

Re: 2024 MLB Thread
Great comeback by the Yankees tonight. Love these 2nd half season games v. Boston. Looking forward to the national Sunday night game. AL East going to be a fight the rest of the year.

Re: 2024 MLB Thread
Of course somehow Mets win the Wheeler vs. Megill game. The Phillies fuck the Braves yet again. We basically have to sweep the Mets this coming series. I have little faith in that happenings. We have struggled to win 3 games in a row against any team.

Re: 2024 MLB Thread
I feel you the Orioles have one 4 series since the all star break and haven't lost their last 5 series. It has been a downward spiral since they were 24 games over .500 on June 20th. They will win 1 game then drop the next two. I guess I should look at the bright side if they do that they won't get swept out of the playoffs at least and if they hold on I could watch them choke in the playoffs at Camden Yards again.
