Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Yeah got him on the bench right now in one league. He's been a huge bust

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Any of you guys have Steven Ridley? I don't know what to do with this guy, and there are several website that continue to project him with 10-12 points per week. Really? I saw him spliting time with L. Blount last Thursday. If he can't keep Blount off the field with his play, then what good is he? He doesn't catch passes, so he is totally a 1st, 2nd down back. I have Daryll Richerdson as well, maybe I'll start him this week.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
I have actually dropped Ryan Mathews for Willis McGahee. Willis will be the only offense the Browns have, once he passes his physical. I actually see him running and catching, even though he is old. Mathews is going to get you 50 yards in stats, THEN fumble and lose you points.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Do I start Tom Brady against Tampa or RG3 against Detroit this week?
RG3's been riding my bench and he's actually put up better fantasy numbers than Brady. But I feel like Brady has a good matchup playing at home. But I also feel like this could be the week RG3 breaks out.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Alright quick question from a guy who been out of the FF game recently. How smart is it to start both Royal and Gates? Rivers is sharing the rock, and I have D Bryant, H Nicks as 1-2WR and I picked up Cameron as a back up TE.
My thinking on benching Cameron this week is with Hoyer in and Gordon back it could mean that Cameron goes down a notch in production. Also I have been signing Ds each week based on matchups which has been successful. This week I have a tough call MinD vs Browns or BillsD vs Jets? Any thoughts on that one or is it at obvious as I think it is.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Matthews was a bit much to drop for McGahee.
I picked up Willis on two teams though, on teams I had droppable players. Found Josh Gordon available in one league too...coming back from suspension this week, so he's a little under the radar at the moment.

Brady and the Pats aren't the juggernaut they used to be and Tampa's D is still pretty good. I'd roll with Robert. You know we're going to score a lot this week. I just hope it starts before the 4th quarter this time.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Monkey, thought about adding Gordon but at the expense of Jennings of Minn. My thinking on both is what do to with a WR group in which niether team has a good QB throwing the ball.
My other backup is Decker and I wont let him go for Gordon.

If Vereen was still there, who I had in a couple of teams too as a handcuff, Ridley could be in jeopardy of losing some of his workload but Blount is no threat. Ridley will come around and start being productive soon. I am benching him until then when I have better options. I'd probably play Richardson over him if I were you.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Maybe so Monkey, but Mathews does not score and only plays on 1st and 2nd down, AND fumbles. I guess I'm just done with him and am still wondering why I drafted him. Also, it seems like this year Phillip Rivers is passing when he gets close to scoring. They don't trust Mathews around the goal line, and I can't say I blame them. I have Marshawn and Steven Ridley, and Daryll Richardson, so I feel like I can afford to take a chance on McGahee, especially with all the RB injuries. I'm probably hurting other guys in my league putting Willis on my team. They can all go crazy over Mathews and get burned like I have been.

Gordon is going to be Clevaland's clear #1 weapon on offense, perhaps their only one. McGahee will get all of the carries but they're going to be playing from behind EVERY week. Jennings has been a disappointment but has a higher ceiling I think, but they're pretty close to even. I'd probably wait to see how both do this week and if Jennings puts up one more mediocre week, I'd drop him for Gordon if still available then.
