How soon till we win the Superbowl?

I was just thinking about that now that we have Gibbs it's no longer if, but when. I personally think we make a good run for it this year and definately champs next year.

A little trivia for you, Gibbs won his 1st Superbowl ring in 1983 during his 2nd year as a head coach in the NFL!!

Hopefully with his wisdom, staff and players we can beat his own record!

Records are made to be broken. I said before we were going to win back to back super bowls, and that we got Brunell so we could do it with different QBs

Its possible in 1, no question about it. Could take a couple years, might not, we shall see.

I want to say this year, but I think we need a year to "gel" and to plug a few more holes and add a little depth....next year should be paydirt!!!!!!!!!

He needs this season to bed in. The roster looks good and the coaching staff are proven but we can't put prssure on them this year, whatever happens is a bonus cos Coach Gibbs is back.

I'm not looking sooner than 05/06 for a Lombardi.

Our problem is, we usually win it in May.

I'll settle for this coming February, or the next one.

I got us in the Playoffs. Once in the playoffs ANYTHING can happen.

We could go all the way this year and I hope we do.

I would like to say this year, but I think that it will take at least one more season.

How long probably depends more on when the players adjust to/accept the Joe Gibbs system/philosophy than anything else. And make no mistake about it, these holdover players have a HUGE adjustment to make.

I have to agree. It will take some luck to get to the playoffs in my opinion. There 12 years of crud that has to be dealt with.

Anyway I like to hope in an idealistic sense that Gibbs will just reset things to where he left off and the team will get back in the old familiar groove.
