Basically is it hedging or is it gambling. Think The Big Short by Michael Lewis or the movie if you don't read (sigh). Personally I think hedging is highly unethical regardless of if it is labeled as gambling, you are investing money and hoping the system fails so you get rich.

Braddock mayor detains jogger after hearing possible gunshots

I believe I did the right thing, but I may have broken the law during the course of it. You know, I'm certainly not above the law, but what I did, I did in a split second out of concern as a father and the mayor," said Fetterman.

John Fekkkerman pulling shotguns on a black jogger…I’m sure that’s ok with liberals

Cancelled?

The MAGAs won.

They realized that America has a decent percent of very gullible pissed off people who are looking for someone to blame for their jobless poor decrepit town in Kentucky or Western Pennsylvania

So they beat on the cultural war drum incessantly to cause division and increase anger among the dumbest poorest uneducated amongst us.

All the while these poor rednecks collect disability, medicaid complaining about liberals this and liberals that .. all while sucking on the Federal teete as their life line while they stuff their face with sugary ass food and smoke cigarettes and wonder why their feet are starting to tingle.

Im not talking about Chico or anyone here ... Im talking about half my extended family living in W Va and PA.

Prince George Maryland set the monthly homicides record for the month, also

Chief Aziz said that Prince George’s has seen 355 reported carjackings this year — a 40% increase year-to-date in 2021, which saw 391 total by year’s end. Only 91 incidents of the crime were reported in 2019, which jumped to 262 in 2020.

Indiana man charged with murder in the death of his wife wins Republican primary from jail

An Indiana man charged with murder in the death of his wife, who had cancer and recently filed for a divorce, won a local Republican primary election while behind bars.

Andrew Wilhoite, 40, of Lebanon, is charged with felony murder, accused of killing his wife Elizabeth "Nikki" Wilhoite, 41, in March.

He allegedly hit her in the head with a blunt object and dumped her body at a nearby creek in March, Indiana State Police said.

An autopsy by the Boone County Coroner's Office determined the manner of death to be homicide.

Most Americans see Trump's MAGA as threat to democracy: Reuters/Ipsos poll

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Days after Democratic President Joe Biden gave a fiery speech attacking former President Donald Trump and his Republican allies as an extremist threat, a Reuters/Ipsos poll completed on Wednesday found a majority of Americans believe Trump's movement is undermining democracy.

Fifty-eight percent of respondents in the two-day poll - including one in four Republicans - said Trump's "Make America Great Again" movement is threatening America's democratic foundations
The poll highlights the sharply polarized state of U.S. politics.

Fifty-nine percent of respondents said Biden's speech will further divide the country, though just about half of respondents said they didn't watch or follow the speech at all.

While Trump remains popular among Republicans, his standing within the party has suffered since a mob of his supporters attacked the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, in a bid to stop lawmakers from certifying Biden's election victory.

The Reuters/Ipsos poll found that 60% of Republicans don't think Trump's MAGA movement represents the majority of the party
