Re: Draft wrap-up 2013
Also some where upset we didn't go after a RT. I'm hearing that after the top few OT's most of the players were not players you would throw in and start, in other words they most likely would need some work and maybe a year under their belts.
I guess I'm happy with what we got. I gave a B for their grade. We got what we needed other then OL and WR, but if any of the UDFA's turn out to be something then we should be ok. I know some call them camp fodder but sometimes there are diamonds in the rough and there was a ton of good talent that dropped to later rounds or didn't get drafted. Look at Xavier Nixon for example. He's top talent. They just need to fine tune him a little and he might make a decent RT. |

Re: Draft wrap-up 2013
He has the size and athletic ability to succeed. Lack of motivation is said to be his problem. Now he has a chance despite whatever happened in his football past. If he seizes the opportunity, I think he can make the team.

Re: Draft wrap-up 2013
This was the first year since Shanahan has been here that he didn't draft any OL. I'll take that as a strong sign that he's satisfied with what we've got.

Or he didn't see one that was worth a pick. Either way I am good with the RT spot and I trust in those that are making the decisions in Ashburn.

Re: Draft wrap-up 2013
i think we got almost EXACTLY who we wanted in this draft and Shanallen is prolly pretty pleased with the list of players we got.. i trust that they followed the plan they had in place and i trust this was a good draft at first look.

"I'm all in for Week 1, just like you guys are."
-- Robert Griffin III, the rehabbing Washington quarterback, at the club's draft party for fans over the weekend. He jumped up and down on stage, and the crowd reacted like a packed house at a Jay-Z show. Re: Draft wrap-up 2013
You know what would have been funny; if he pulled a Willy Wonka, and started jumping then fell to the ground and started holding his knee like he was in pain, gotten up running and doing more jumping jacks and backflips on stage.

And a couple things I noticed, NE took Jamie Collins the pick after we took Amerson. Big F. And Chicago took Jon Bostic with the pick just before we took Amerson. Funny how that worked out lol. Also Travis Kelce went with the first pick in the 3rd to the Chiefs. oof.
