So with the kind of melt down of the Lions in the second half does it change anyone's opinion on Ben Johnson?

It’s not Johnson’s fault Campbell gambled twice, Reynolds dropped 2 balls and Goff noodle arm pass to St. Brown. Johnson’s offense moved the ball and gave them chances, this is coming from a MacDonald supporter.

Scoring 31 points against that D is not a deal breaker. Same with the half time adjustments MacDonald made against KC. I am sold on both.

Ben Johnson is probably ready to get away from Campbell and his stubborn ass decisions. Atrocious work by Campbell yesterday. I blame Reynolds though the most. Stone-hands.

Also, the Lions defense made Purdy look like a mix of Michael Vick and Joe Montana.

I just got the feeling that Kyle out coached him in the second half.

My opinion on BJ has not changed. Looks like he can really scheme up offense as good as anyone. Can he lead the entire team? We'll see.

Or that Gibbs fumbled. He had that D on their knees. If Campbell kicks fg’s from what the 28 and 30 something they are SB bound.

Aiyuk and Jennings catches that were incredible in crucial moments helped them, Shanahan didn’t out coach him. Campbell dumb coached him.

Kyle doesn't call plays for the SF defense

SF has a legit D. Detroit should have scored 37 points. They were in position to do so. If you are looking for a coordinator or coach to take over that has been perfect their entire career you are going to be looking forever.

Drops, fumbles, idiotic decisions by a HC - that is what outdid Johnson’s offense in the second half. Ben Johnson called a beautiful game yesterday.

Re: Conference Championships - Around the NFL

As far as the Lions go, I wonder if this is the kind of loss that carries over into next season. They still have a really good team and their GM is one of the best, but that was just brutal yesterday.

Dan Campbell for all the good that he has done, he flat out let his guys down yesterday. His ego may be too big for him to win a huge game like that.

The 49ers seeing something many of us fans saw his entire time here. Mediocrity.

The #49ers will consider benching DE Chase Young for their Super Bowl matchup vs the #Chiefs

Young has made a habit of taking several plays off and the 49ers have started to view him as a liability.
