Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)

is there a program or way people can donate their old x box or PS4 to kids in need? but it would actually go to poor kids and not some profit siphoning scheme like Kars 4 Kids?

Good question I'd just contact some local agencies, maybe start with Social Services to see what they suggest

I don't have the Xbox yet, still on it's way.

Can't really go wrong with either one. PS is great for the exclusives, but I also really like game pass on the Xbox. Just depends on which side you lean to.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

I'd bet the S gets phased out rather quickly. I guess if you don't care about 4k it makes sense, but that 500 gb hard drive is really weak.

Agree, my son has always been a Xbox kid so that is what he wants. If i had a extra $500 i get the PS5.

to me this the best year of gaming, i keep my old console buy games i wanted on the cheap and finish up the games i like on the old console then this time next year i get the PS5 and hopefully by then the PS4 is on its way out and the PS5 is humming along.

No, you can switch from game to game in seconds vs having to wait for the game to load
