Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever

I have to say, these threads have been pretty entertaining this morning. Thanks for all who have contributed.

Honestly, it saddens me that we can't do better (all sides) with who we put on the ballots. Normal people have no chance anymore. It's the richest, most connected, most willing to do back-door deals who get seats at the table now. None of these politicians represent the average American anymore. Until we get back to nominating candidates that truly represent what Americans value, and who can compromise for the greater good of the whole country, we'll continue to have threads like this on forums all over the country, where people who could probably all hang out in a backyard grilling and throwing a few back, will be at each other's throats defending the asshole they had to vote for because they had no other choice - in their mind.

People say they want religion out of politics. That's fine and I understand that sentiment. But you have to have people with morals. I know that not all religious people have morals (see Catholic Priest issue over the last several decades), but I think most do, so I'm not against someone touting their Christianity, or whatever their faith, while running for office. It's part of who they are. There are those who will fake it (Trump), but there are plenty who are genuine.

Anyway, I honestly don't get why Trump would run again. It's going to be a disaster if he does, and who will he run against. There's no way Biden runs again - he doesn't even know where the bathroom is anymore.

We gotta do better - all sides. I just want to be excited about who I'm voting for, and I haven't felt like that in a long time. It truly comes down to who do I think is the lesser of two evils and cross my fingers, or don't exercise my right to vote. Neither is a good choice.

I did zero of these things last night or this morning:

Not saying I'm a Beto fan but I like this energy

@BetoORourke did not hold back when a supporter of Greg Abbott laughed loudly as Beto discussed the mass shooting in Uvalde.

Not sure what that has to do with what I posted but thanks? Maybe you're the guy laughing in the clip?

It would help bring us closer together if you hated him for being the slimy cunt that he is. Lol. Can I say cunt as long as I mean it?

Nothing in particular. He is just one of my least favorite people this country has to offer. And I love memes. Good combo.

You love Beto? I've never felt further apart from you lol.

But cunt is a solid word. It's just so mean and harsh. It's a perfect word to get certain points across.

Always a solid move to respond to a clip about kids dying with a meme.

Always solid to be a waffling liar with no real solutions to any problems. And that meme had nothing to do with Uvalde. It was out way before that. This guy is just another rat that will say or do anything to gain power.

The article lays it out quite well on why she is an actual conservative and I think the consensus (which includes some of his supporters) is Trump definitely is not a conservative. Unfortunately, Trump and MAGA have a hammerlock on the GOP (including in Wyoming) and if you don't bend the knee you're done.

As for her being a Neo-con you are correct on that, but wrong on the definition of what a neo-con is. It's not about profit it's about morality. And yes I know we can't save everyone.

Acts 16:31: Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.

Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever

I said right off the bat I wasn't a fan of the guy, just liked his response in that clip. But hey shit on him anyway.

Amazing a Trump voter calling someone a liar and a rat. Really fucking funny.
