Re: Week 1 - Post-game Thread
Yeah sure, we can say that if you want. But the reality is, one side of the ball did enough to win, and the other did not.
I'm just not ready to say that this is a bad defense after one game. The offense on the other hand, has shown the same thing for the last 21 games, so I'm much more comfortable saying that the offense stinks. |

Those guys on defense were so weak. I watched that Saints game and that was a real defense that I saw. They dominated a top offense. |

Re: Week 1 - Post-game Thread
I’m not actually mad at this game. A lot of little things caused us to lose. Ron gambling, Gibson fumbling, Scherffs penalty that knocked us out of FG range.
Overall the offense looked like night and day with Heinicke in. I liked that. My main issue isn’t with them. But that defense especially the LB and CB play was fucking clown shoes. St-Juste was garbage so was Fuller. The only LB I saw making plays was Holcomb. That shit has gotta change. To hang in and just lose by a couple scores with that terrible defense doesn’t make me mad. It does make me seriously concerned about the D though. And I get it Herbert one of a kind player blah blah but for everyone coming in saying this D is one of the best in the league, they got completely embarrassed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What is this the Kirk Cousins curse? Ever since he left we've had a big time injury bug at QB.

Tyler looked much better, Fitz was always just a band aid. I literally could careless if he comes back or not.

If anyone has seen that play where he got injured does Leno give anybody confidence he can stop the same thing from happening to Heinicke? Heinicke can bulk up all he wants - it won't matter if Leno is still as bad as he was yesterday.

Re: Week 1 - Post-game Thread
Fitz had way too small of a sample to really tell how he was going to look in this offense. TH to me was eh. He's ok but nothing spectacular. Hopefully with some first team reps he'll be better prepared for Thurs. Either way it's clear QB is going to be an issue again this year. Probably won't be long until Kyle Allen gets in there, and then probably some guy we'll sign off the street.
