I like that a lot actually.

Ditch the gray facemask for burgundy.

^^^ those look pretty good, gold may be too shiny but thats the best ive seen.

Would shiny helmets like that be a very small but still compititve disadvantage? Makes it just slightly easier for a defender to detect in their peripheral? i guess on the same note, perhaps slightly easier for a scrambling QB to see the flash from an open player.

im probably looking too much into it.

If it were an advantage, Notre Dame would be winning championships.

Probably no effect at all.

My son wears this batting helmet in Little League. I was more worried about the ump saying he can't wear it due to glare than getting an advantage. Nothing has been said yet, 5 games in.

I am not a fan of the chromed out/shiny football helmets. Much rather have the opposite, the old school looking ones. Everyone get off my lawn.

Re: In memory of our REDSKINS

Yeah I'm a big fan of the shiny helmet look tho. This has the most realistic look of an NFL team so far

The NFL's one-helmet rule doesn't.

That killed off our leather helmets.

Re: In memory of our REDSKINS

It's hard to believe that the era of Redskins football is over. I'm an older fan so obviously the Super Bowl wins and all of the Redskin's greats who made up those legendary teams.

Recent memories, or not so recent, Santa Moss scoring on the two long bombs from Brunell to beat the Cowboys.

RGIII's rookie season, if only he had not been injured.

Like the rest of you, and it is sad that this is the end, "Hail to the Redskins!"

Going forward since the Washington Football Club is no longer the Redskins, I no longer have the emotional investment, and for a multitude of reasons, chief of which being the culprit for ending this franchise will NOT support Dan Snyder under any circumstances. It's also clear that the driver in the name change as with all things Snyder, was money and FedEx backing out.

We would need rounder balls and yellow cards instead of flags. Nah.

Love that uniform except the Chinese knockoff-looking NOB font and numbers...

Hate the name. That's a great uniform for Braves or Redhawks.
