Re: Official Orioles and Nationals Thread 2012

Pretty shitty that Coles threw at Harper for being a 19 year old in MLB. Got 5 game suspension for it, but how does that really hurt a pitcher? He rests for 5 days to begin with. Should make it 10 games so that way he'll be missing a start.

Yeah I didn't get that either. So he gets 5 games off before his next start? Lame. Sure he probably can't hang out at the clubhouse or in the dugout but I doubt he cares. MLB dropped the ball on that one.

That explanation he gave was the most idiotic thing I've ever heard. I'm like, you can be old school without doing that garbage.

Agreed. Plus, I love Rizzo's response - basically "You're Colbert Effing Hamels, you're not old school!"

Good series this weekend. Wish the Nats had taken the series but seeing Strasburg hit a homerun was pretty sweet

Nice to see Zimmermann get one today as well. I'm beginning to think our best batters are the pitching staff. Gio, Edwin and Stammen are probably the best.

Orioles have lost 6 of 8...the whole division from top to bottom is separated by only 4.5 games.

The end is here, Baltimore. Your hot April lasted longer than usual this season.

Morse should be back soon, and if Danny keeps dicking around, Lombo will easily take over second.

I'll second this. At least they're still battling.

Re: Official Orioles and Nationals Thread 2012

which is going to be the worst contract for the Nats: Jason Werth or Ryan Zimmerman? Werth was a bad signing, Zim is a much better player...but that was a ton of money. Zim stays banged up.
