Re: Roy Williams (WR) for a 2nd Round Pick?
I kinda want to see the Redskins get involve with this...but how much will it cost them? It appears from the Eagles offer that a 2nd round pick wouldn't be enough.

Re: Roy Williams (WR) for a 2nd Round Pick?
Hackett is all we need, and if desperate, B. Johnson. Williams is too much $$$ and we can draft a youngster who will be as good or better than Williams in the future. He is a former first round pick and will want to be compensated by someone who can afford him.

Re: Roy Williams (WR) for a 2nd Round Pick?
Its going to be okay for us with Santana and whoever else we get either in the draft or the FA. I think we need to not trade away our top pics though because the draft pool is very hot this year and we are in a state of "mini" rebuilding.

Re: Roy Williams (WR) for a 2nd Round Pick?
Based on trades the past few years, a good cb + picks in rounds 2,4 & 6 is offering a lot. The iggles I believe are heeding Donovan's request; get some playmakers.
This has been a season of role reversal w/us & the iggles, we're keeping picks (so far) & they're signing big contracts & looking to make moves by trading their picks (if this is true). I think they believe they have a contender if they just get a couple more players, starting w/a big play wr. |

Re: Roy Williams (WR) for a 2nd Round Pick?
I would have to think about it.
I would do it for a #1 and a low pick straight up. I would even be willing to trade one of our receivers, ARE and a mid-low pick for RW. RW and SM as a 1-2 WR threat is not bad. Matter of fact, i would go out on a limb and say it would be one of the best tandems in the league. Throw in Cooley and wow. I'd be excited. |

Re: Roy Williams (WR) for a 2nd Round Pick?
He signed a pretty cap friendly contract also...he might be the one player the skins could work into a trade...but that's assuming the league has any interest in Betts. RB is a position that tends to get devalued around the league.

Re: Roy Williams (WR) for a 2nd Round Pick?
I think I mentioned this already in another post, but should we be concerned in the Eagles land Roy Williams or Larry Fitzgerald?

Re: Roy Williams (WR) for a 2nd Round Pick?
No, we should be concerned if Westbrook is healthy. Donovan and TO didnt scare me, why would either of those two?
The Eagles are Brian Westbrook. |

Re: Roy Williams (WR) for a 2nd Round Pick?
That year with TO was the Eagles best team under McNabb. Not as much Williams but if they ever got Fitzgerald they would be the odds on favorite to win the NFC.
