Re: MLB 2012 (random postings/events)

Prince Fielder is smashing balls in his second session in round 1 of the home run derby.

The commentating has been the best when they brought George Brett in. He brought Kruk some food, and Kruk was sitting there devouring those ribs while they continued talking. Brett actually showed up (teasing) Berman a couple times.

He had to come back one more time to stick it to his arch nemesis Dusty Baker. Ive heard LaRussa is a big time prick and a tough interview.

Nice to see Brett busting Boomer's balls a bit. Funnier than Kruk eating was Adam Jones sliding over to eat with a shit-eating grin on his face.

If you watched the HR derby from start to finish god bless you. I watch about one batter then I am done.

Yeah, I tuned in late and saw Trumbo launching some DEEP bombs, then had enough of Berman's voice.

Who won?

Do you remember when Berman brought back the moustache? Epic, just awesome

Good...a fan of Cecil's son.

Glad Bautista did not win, guy has to be juicing. Look at his numbers until 2010...had a Brady Anderson-type explosion....plus he plays for Canada.

Re: MLB 2012 (random postings/events)

The bigger story here is probably the Marlins' unloading of Sanchez and the white flag that represents. What an underachieving team the '12 Marlins turned out to be. A mere three years ago, a Hanley Ramirez/Jose Reyes infield would have automatically been one of the best in baseball, regardless of who might be playing first and second. Now it's 100% average, at best. I'm waiting on the expose of what the %$*% happened to Hanley Ramirez.
