This. It's a shame. And like others have said, I worry about how John Wall takes all this losing. And I also agree about shipping Blatche out. It's a shame he's wasting his talent.

Yup. In this star-driven league, I don't want him to bounce after his rookie contract.

Yep. It's sad that he's probably our only chance at climbing out of the pits. And if he leaves once his contract's up, we're right back where we started.

Re: Washington Wizards 2011-2012 Ongoing Thread
I'll echo what others have said here and just say that I think Blatche is one of the worst guys that could possibly be playing for this team. He thinks he's much better than he is and it pouts whenever things don't go his way. He's overconfident and his game isn't all that good. He's got talent, but he's too much of a jerk for it to really come together. Also, to me, he looks like he got fat during the lockout.
I'll share a small piece of anecdotal evidence. Last year, I had great seats to the Raptors game (Hinrich started in place of an injured Wall, not sure what the date was and don't feel like looking; also, Gil was still on the team). Anyway, Blatche was having an off quarter and a guy, not too far from me shouted "Hey Andray, make a shot" during a timeout. Now, while I'm sure he was frustrated, it said a lot to me that he looked up and shouted "Shut the f*ck up!" back at the guy. To me, he shouldn't have even heard it and, if he did, he a. shouldn't have let it bother him and b. certainly shouldn't have responded. To me, it spoke to his immaturity. Now, I know that's sort of nitpicking, but I thought two things when it happened. 1. "I can't believe he actually reacted to that." 2. "I can't believe I'm shocked that Andray did react to it." Full disclosure: I've wanted him gone ever since the offseason before Wall was drafted, but this scene was still a little jarring to me and it confirmed everything I don't like about him. The team is a mess. They have to unload Rashard's contract and Blatche's attitude. And Flip must go. He's not the guy to lead this team.

I still, for the life of me, can't understand why they didn't amnesty Rashard.

The fact that Andray Blatche is a team captain is just a freaking joke. What a pathetic bunch.

What about the response to rotate captains by Flip? i seriously lol when i read that. So that is the solution, team leadership really must not be that important? Pathetic bunch is dead on.

Re: Washington Wizards 2011-2012 Ongoing Thread
![]() Went to the game last night against the Knicks. The Wizards had a 16 point lead and blew it. They simply don't have any offensive talent beyond Wall and Young. Rashard Lewis is absolutely garbage. Why is this guy still getting a paycheck? What idiot in Orlando thought giving this guy a max contract was a good idea? **** the NBA owners. They losing money, it's because they give bums like him a max contract. I agree. Flip was pretty horrible. He just looks happy to be there, but then again, they don't have much to work with. edit: Javale McGee had a solid game with 4 blocks, and Wall needs to shoot the ball better from outside as well.

John Wall
Nick Young Chris Singleton Jan Vesely JaVale McGee Shelvin Mack Jordan Crawford It's a nice nucleus, no veteran or coaching leadership Drop Blatche and Lewis, use this years lottery pick on a Harrison Barnes and a veteran big man to spell McGee and they could become the Thunder in a few years.

What's worse about is that the Bulls only scored 78 points. I mean your opponent scores under 80 points and you lose. That's...unfortunate
