Re: The Sam Howell Thread

Dotson may just be suffering a sophomore slump. I'd see how he looks in camp before deciding. Besides we may be losing 3 WR's in FA, so trading a guy who may recover in year 3 (before he even gets a sniff of what will likely be a new offense) could be a mistake. I think Dyami Brown is surplus and I'd rather re-sign Pringle.

Dotson was a baller in college and looked very promising last year, all our WR's are having down years this year. NO WAY I'M TRADING HIM THIS OFF-SEASON!

There's other number 2s that are better than Dotson......if I'm the new GM I'm looking to replace all of the slacking players......

Dotson isn't going anywhere.

I'm looking at someone like Jonathan Allen that could be dealt.

I'm honestly ready to trade him. Then use one of the draft picks to draft his replacement.

I think if you could get a 2nd for him that there are some good interior guys available then, fresh blood, rookie contract save $10m, maybe fantasy thinking though

Anyone who trades a second for Dotson should be fired and never allowed near an nfl front office again.

I feel this way about anyone who makes a trade to move up in the draft to take a long snapper. 🤡

Speaking of his replacement what's happened with Mathis? Dude was a ghost this year.

Looks like another Rivera/Washington 2nd round bust.

Could be, but it's tough to get playing time behind J Allen & D Payne. Mathis didn't even play the first half of the season (was he hurt?), and only played sparingly the rest of the season.

Mathis is ass. Everytime I watch a snap of his it's because he's getting dominated.

What a waste of a draft pick. We should've known what we were getting when he said he was surprised at going in the 2nd round.

It was just such an unnecessary pick anyway. Second round pick and we take a DT with Allen and Payne when we had so many holes? One more loss Ron. One more loss.
