They have been pretty consistent about wanting to build the team through the draft. That could mean drafting a QB at 2, or not.

Haven’t even bothered to research next years crop but I can’t imagine they are more highly regarded than these 3.

Personally I hope someone does have balls of steel as I'm not a huge fan of the top 3 QBs.
I would trade back, get a top OT and go from there.
Balls of steel or a ridiculous haul of draft picks...maybe both.

I still think they draft a QB, but who knows what they are thinking? Maybe Kliff is confident he can make Sam Howell into something...

Quinn must have studied Howell up and down prepping for our games. If they roll with him, which I doubt, that certainly would speak volumes about Howell's upside.

So this is just one mock draft board that I filtered quarterbacks on and it is really very early but based on what I am seeing I wouldn’t pass on one of these three.

Here is one more. Other than Sanders I have no idea who these guys are.

Yep. Looks like if you think you need a QB - this is definitely the year as opposed to next year.

There is ZERO CHANCE this team doesn't take a QB at 2

2. Washington Commanders
Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina

Time will tell as to what Washington ultimately does here, but I don't envision them getting cute if they stay and take a QB. The popular pick is LSU's Jayden Daniels. Still, conversations within league circles have reiterated that OC Kliff Kingsbury isn't looking to utilize a QB as a major portion of his run game—thus detaching Washington from Daniels. Maye is immediately the most talented QB Washington has had since taking Robert Griffin III back in 2012.

Ryan Fowler

Nubin is one of my favorite players in the draft. But I'd never argue w/ drafting a LT there.

I like him too . . . but i do believe they will resign Kurl and that safety is one of our least needy positions.

So the guy who coached Johnny Manziel, Kyler Murray, and Caleb Williams is not looking for a dual threat quarterback ? Im calling BS on that.

Ill also say, again, that Jayden Daniels isn’t a run first quarterback. He uses his legs to keep plays alive and is usually looking to throw downfield, and does so accurately.

Apparently Ryan Fowler slept in the day of Kliff's introductory press conference, where he talked the importance of QB mobility. I know it was just a presser, but this point of was pretty much emphasized.

To add to your thoughts, he must have missed where ownership have said they’re modeling themselves after the Ravens.
Which QB’s game mor resembles Ravens?
