Ip Man isn't brand new but it had some awesome Kung Fu in it. You can stream it instantly on Netflix.

Here is a taste.

A dude at the MovieStop by my house recommended this to me when it came out a few months ago so I gave it a shot and holy crap did Donnie Yen vault up my list of martial artists who are absolutely badass. That fight scene in the dojo when he snapped was brutal.

Re: Merged: The Movies Thread

went and saw the Mechanic remake this weekend and dude, Ben Foster needs to be in more movies. It starts a bit slowly but by the middle of the movie it's pretty non stop action. Not a whole lot to the plot as guessed, but an entertaining trip to the theater none the less.

Yeah Ben Foster is sick ! He was the only thing that kept me in 3:10 To Yuma, was great in Alpha Dog, and was a f***ing monster in 30 Days of Night.

Yes. Well deserving of its Best Picture nomination. IMO, Social Network and Black Swan were both a tad better, but King's Speech was excellent.

I need to see Social Network.

I saw The King's Speech and thought it was one of the better movies I've seen in a long time. I didn't want it to end. That period of history I find quite fascinating with the King abdicating and all so I don't know if I would have liked the movie as much if it wasn't based on truth, and a time that I find fascinating

Wonderful movie. Great script (penned by a man who really did stammer), great acting. One of my definite favorites of the last 10 years. Loved The Fighter too.

Caught The Town the other night. I thought it was very good. Not excellent but very good.

Inception is next up.

You're right about Ben Foster. Awesome actor.

Saw the Social Network too. I liked it, it was very good, but I don't think it's best picture worthy.

I gotta get out and see True Grit too.

Just saw Social Network. It was OK. Worth a watch but I probably wouldn't pop it in again.

Saw Machete, great flick! Lots of blood and tons of T&A, famous T&A at that.

hate to dissapoint you,but you didnt see what you thought you saw:

Or maybe she doesn’t, according to Mr. Skin, who says she’s either covered up or replaced by a body double in every scene.

SCENE 1: Lindsay Lohan is in the pool with Alicia Rachel Marek playing her mother. Marek’s breasts are very visible above the water, but Lohan’s are kept entirely underneath.
She asks Danny Trejo to join them and we cut to the shot from the trailer where Marek and the unknown blonde are the women whose breasts are exposed on either side of them. It is most definitely not Lohan in this shot.
After that flashback, so to speak, Trejo has them placed in the back of his hearse where they are passed out. Lohan is on the left and we can only see partial left breast on her, again obscured by an arm.

SCENE 2: Jeff Fahey watches the pool footage from earlier (in the Grindhouse trailer) with Marek & the unknown blonde again making out with Trejo with their boobs exposed.

SCENE 3: Lindsay Lohan and Alicia Rachel Marek wake up, both nude. We can see Marek’s breasts. Lohan’s, though, are obscured by her blonde hair.

he Internet is abuzz with film fans (and men who like to think they saw Jessica Alba naked) debating whether CGI nude scenes are bad for movies after the Daily Mail reported that Jessica Alba didn’t actually go nude for her shower scene in Machete. Instead, as shown here, she filmed it wearing white undergarments, which were digitally deleted in post-production. (UPDATE: Alba’s publicist has released the following statement to EW: “Jessica has been steadfast in her resolve not to appear nude in films from the beginning of her career. The decision to digitally remove the underwear from the shower scene in Machete was one she and Robert Rodriguez made together, which would serve his vision for the film, as well as honor her personal convictions regarding nudity. She is very proud of the film and stands by the creative decisions she and Robert made about this scene.”) There are a couple interesting discussions here:
