Re: Skins v Iggles Winner Goes to SB Pre-Game

No idea what the score is going to be. I am just so happy to see us in the Championship game. I am concerned about the trenches against the Eagles. However, Jayden and KK seem to be untouchable at the moment. Watching us with an offence that excites and executes is great to see.

No matter what the result we have such a good base going forward. With upcoming draft and FA, we can set things up nicely. I suspect people are thinking about focusing on getting a WR or CB going forward. I think bulking up the trenches is key. Just looking at our division. Eagles are great, Dallas are inconsistent but the talent is there, while Giants for being bad overall, do seem to give our OL issues.

We're playing with house money. That being said, I will be so sad, upset, pissed off, etc. etc. etc. around 630 p.m. tonight if we don't win. We're too close to turn back now.

Same. If somehow the playoffs had worked out differently and it was the Lions this week I could just about stomach losing. It'll be a lot harder if the crappy green budgerigars beat us.

if we we lose i will only feel sadness because this year is so special and for it to come to an end pains me ; championship or no championship it is a magical season

the only more special season was the providence friars 87 run where they made it to the final four for me because i was 13, lived in RI and i watched every game with my dad ( he is a alumni)

31 teams end each season with some level of disappointment. Unfortunately, the closer you get to the top, the deeper the disappointment. But losing proud beats the hell out of being a laughingstock.

One of my worst fan days was when we got shellacked by the Raiders in SB18. Crushed that we didn’t win 2 consecutive Super Bowls! But what a great era to have been a Skins fan. I think we’re back in that picture in the JD era.

That's the way I look at it. We're playing with house money. However, I won't be sad or upset if we lose. I'm kinda expecting the loss, while still thinking this team can never be count out. Why not them indeed. Anything goes in a NFCE matchup.

I can't help thinking its almost a win-win. We lose the Eagles can't really brag because they're expected to win (and will probably lose the SB). I we win, it defies the odds, form book etc. Love to be able to rub their noses in it.

If we're neck-in-neck and lose in close fashion, then you can't feel overly bad for our squad. Especially if you think about where many pundits (and Vegas) had us prior to the start of the season.

With that said, we're extremely close to garnering our first Super Bowl appearance in more than 30 years, as well as making history with our rookie QB. I badly want this win against the arrogant, loud-mouthed Eagle fans. Did I say I BADLY want this win?

I remember that damn game. Marcus Allen just running wild and our record setting offense just got shut down. They are the better team that day by a mile.
