Man, I am pleasantly stunned that the DBacks pulled it off. Phillies keep knocking the Braves out, but at least they aren't also winning World Series Series'.

That would be me,but I'm an Astros fan also,but been Rangers fan for years also.Would have been great if they would have won one when Nolan Ryan was pitching for them

The deal is nuts, but you knew some team was going to do it. To get the best hitter in MLB and one of the better pitchers is too good to turn down. Probably why the Dodgers weren't super active last FA. The rich have gotten drastically richer.
