who's to say which is play was a better one? A 5 yard dump down that goes for 40 yards can be a smarter decision than a 40 yard heave & prayer.

Bum Phillips dies at 90; folksy Texas football icon coached NFL's Oilers and Saints - latimes.com
I had not heard that...what a great dude and a great coach as well. I lived in the Houston area during his heyday......RIP Bum
I was a closet Oiler fan with Bum at the helm

Re: Around the NFL Week 7

I still believe that the Redskins are headed to a 10 year domination (Niners style) of the NFC East. RGIII gets on track the latter half of this season, then through draft and trades we get where we need to go.

Dallas Cowboys projected to be $31 million over salary cap in 2014 - ESPN Dallas

They are going to have to cut a lot of people or kick that can on down the road Vinny Cerrato style.

Lucky for Brady, no one in Boston is going to care whether they win or lose, because the Red Sox are going to the WS.

Andy Dalton tearing it up against the Lions. His o-line is giving him all day to throw. He's doing his job replacing Brees in my FF team
