My solution would have been (talent influx on offense + general competency on defense). Of course, I'll never find out if that would have actually worked, so I'm just going to assume it would have

He misses the boat a lot, A LOT, but credit where credit is due. JLC was the first person (last month) to talk about Redskins interest in Carriker

Sure he deserves credit for this but having interest in a guy with a modest contract is a lot different than we are actively shopping a guy we paid 32 million for 12 games despite what the coach, the coaches mouthpiece, the GM and DC are saying.

There's more. We also swapped 7th rounders. So we move up 3 spots

What is that worth on the draft chart? A free #1 pick jersey?

Four Taco Bell Tortadas...or two Wendy's Spicy Chicken sandwiches. Depends on whether or not they agree to a new CBA

This trade is making less and less sense, but I like it more and more.

no crap, he must have really rubbed some people the wrong way, regardless of what he has done on the feild so far and the injury, he was the first round pick three years ago, and they traded him to us like he is a washed up vet. teams don't just give away their first round draft picks this soon, but i'll take whatever else they want to give us too

This is a lot like the Erasmus James trade.

I thought that was a good value trade, and I think the same of this one.
