Re: 2024 Commanders Off-Season Thread
Defensively the coaching staff is looking good, but on offense it is a bit of a head scratcher to say the least, obviously Quinn is tapping into his network of defensive coaches but what sort of offensive network does Kingsbury have?

Also hired John Pagano (Chuck’s brother) has coached outside LB’s, solid staff
so far.

Always liked Ken Norton. He was such a scrappy tough player.

Re: 2024 Commanders Off-Season Thread
A lot of Seattle connections on defense, nothing wrong with that. Special Teams - Izzo is solid. Offense though. Very nervous about that side of the ball.

Re: 2024 Commanders Off-Season Thread
There is not an Oline coach in the world that could have helped the Giants oline last year. Probably not one that could have helped ours either. We will have hopefully 3 new starters there this season though.

2024 Commanders Off-Season Thread

I think Tavita Pritchard is going to be a big time coach one day. That is a great hire. Him and Kingsbury and a QB at 2 is a scenario with very high potential. Why are you so high on Rogers at TE ? Didn’t he play one game at TE in college? He certainly has the physical attributes but I haven’t seen nearly enough (nobody has) to think he is starting material. I hope he is but there is just no proof. |

Re: 2024 Commanders Off-Season Thread
Since the offensive line is probably the 2nd most important position group, in terms of what needs to be fixed on this team, I would definitely like to hear more about the decision to hire Bobby Johnson. I don't know much about him, but the hiring doesn't seem to get the same accolades as most of the other hires have. Still giving the benefit of the doubt to Quinn/Kingsbury, just want to know more about why they chose him, what attracted them to him, etc.

He was not bad in Buffalo. I believe the oline improved his first year there and dropped off after he left. You cannot judge the guy on what happened in NY. That oline was a train wreck. |

Re: 2024 Commanders Off-Season Thread
At the end of the day its about the dudes you have.. If we have good players on the Line we will be ok. Coaching is a big part but without players a great coach doesn't do anything..

Re: 2024 Commanders Off-Season Thread
Wouldn't be surprised if the whole TE room was replaced. Probably isn't a bad idea. Need way better production there.

Re: 2024 Commanders Off-Season Thread
Best TE we have is Armani Rogers, unfortunately he’s coming back from an achilles injury
