And, again, they didn’t lose because of that call unless you are 100 percent positive that the Eagles are going down the field with a minute left and no timeouts and at least gonna tie it. Remember they scored 11 points in the second half.
Mahomes does throw basically all perfect passes. Maybe you're right. But you don't score until you score, unless the ref throws a flag.

I won't lose sleep over it and will be fine tomorrow. But still hate the call.

Philly was getting wrecked all 2nd half. It was a weak holding call but in all honesty the chiefs earned that win

That's not how sports work. Stats aren't worth more in the 2nd half than they are in the 1st half.

If the Redskins won the 1st half by 16 and the Chiefs won the 2nd half by 15, we win!

This is for Punch:

The #Texans are hiring Bobby Slowik as their offensive coordinator, per sources.

Slowik and DeMeco Ryans spent the past six seasons together in San Francisco, both starting their NFL coaching careers as defensive quality controls. Now, Ryans brings Slowik along as OC.

Re: Super Bowl Gameday Thread

We did lose a game on an actual bad call by a ref. I still think we probably got more than we lost from refs this season.

And yes, I think it's a bit iffy, I didn't get a close-up of 1:53-1:52 in the 4th to see if something happened before they part they kept replaying on TD.

Either way, the eagles lost, so it was definitely the right call and I fully support it.

Preach.

Nice to see Mahomes and Andy Reid get another ring.

Re: Super Bowl Gameday Thread

Bradberry admitted it was a hold himself, he just hoped the officials would let it slide. A bit naive if you ask me expecting that in the final minutes of a SB.

But all the 'controversy' seems to forget one thing; the Chiefs adjusted in the 2nd half and scored on every drive, while holding the Eagles to 11 points. The Eagles were out coached and out played in the 2nd half.

For sure, it was kind of a bummer to see the atmosphere of such a great game get killed, but yeah the Chiefs outplayed the Eagles in the 2nd half, and they had all the momentum with them at that point.

The game was exciting enough, not sure why folks are belly aching over that call, plus the real bonus is the eagles lost, HOORAY!!!

Agree, it was a hold. I don't know why people aren't talking about how the booth refs kept Philly in the game by over-ruling the call on the field of an obvious catch, fumble, and KC return for TD.

Phillies D lost the game for them, plain and simple.
