Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
I would say they should have a firm idea of who their top candidate is after a month of vetting since Peters has been GM. There are no more top candidates out there. If they are turning over rocks looking for a gem fine but I have to think with Shen working on this since November. It is was it is but this type of meticulousness has its drawbacks especially if he applies it on March 13th.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Anyone think that we could be taking our time with the search because Peter wants to hire someone from 49ers?

At this point there is no need for deception games with other teams, we are the only one looking for a date.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Talking about San Fran, think Brian Griese is the guy they would look to for OC.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
I would not worry about building the staff, remember we still have some good coaches in staff. They could keep Randy Jordan, Jeff Zgonina (played with Weaver on Texans) Kerrigan and a few others. For OC they could poach Griese or Fleury from the 49ers or Wes Phillips.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Well, Quinn is not who I hoped we would hire but at least this part is over now we can focus on the team.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Agree. I was hoping they would hire an offensive minded HC since today's NFL is an offense first league. The days of defense wins championships are over. I hope this works out.
