Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)

Anyone getting Xbone or PS4 on the release day? I wasn't going to but Thursday gets closer and closer, I want one ASAP.

I told myself I was going to wait til I got my tax return money (so sometime in March or April) and then that way there'd be more games out and some time to work out the kinks. I've also heard the release day games that are currently available aren't very good.

Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)

I pre-ordered both of them when they were first announced, I've since deleted my orders. I'm going to wait it out to make sure one isn't a dud (doubtful but you never know). Plus they're going to continue supporting the current consoles for a few more years so I don't see the need to be an early adapter.

The first year of any new console is fustrating worth waiting. See who the pack leader is and run with that one.

For anyone interested, there's a live stream of Madden 25 on the PS4 going right now.

BBC News - Microsoft acknowledges Xbox problem with disc drive

Sounds like the xbox has some issues too.

Anyone get either of the new consoles yet?

I have heard a lot of people have been getting free test cds by accident that they left in the console. It even says confidential on the cd.

Both are cool, gonna be more important to have one in a few months when more games make their way out like Titanfall on Xbox and Infamous on PS4. Only really had my socks knocked off so far by dead rising 3 and Ryse as far as exclusives go but BF4 is gorgeous as is AC4 & NBA 2K14. Both of the new controllers and user interfaces are really nice and I'm loving the voice commands via the kinect with my cable box plugged up through the xbox.

Re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)

I have the Xbox One.
It's been great so far.
I'm tempted to buy Madden 25 but I think the Redskins have ruined football for me. My go to has been FIFA14 and COG Ghosts.
