Re: Around the NFL Week 16
I say whoever made that dumbass trade needs to go. That trade is probably a huge reason why the locker room is lost.

Re: Around the NFL Week 16
I don't think most would question the trade, but there was no reason to give him that 1/4 billion $ extension before ever seeing him throw a regular season pass in a Broncos uniform.

Re: Around the NFL Week 16
I would question the trade, even if you negate the $250mil. You sell high, not buy. You don't throw the fucking farm at a 31-32 year old QB who's made a living on his mobility. It's fucking dumb on any level. Just review history of mobile QBs and see their longevity. It's a no brainer. Seattle swindled the Broncos.

Hackett was the scapegoat. The real issue is RW he’s horrible now. What a dumpster fire.

Re: Around the NFL Week 16
The Denver job is still an NFL job and there's only 32 of them. Someone will gladly go there. It's not like they don't have some really good pieces. Great football city.
If I were them I'm getting back to having Russ throw the ball 25-30 times. Get him out of shotgun all the time. Go back to the Seattle playbook from 2012-2014. Dummy down the playbook. Get back to basic football. And I'm telling Russ to lose 10-15 pounds. He looks slow, can't escape the rush anymore. He actually looked like RG3 did 2013 and 2014. Lost. |

Re: Around the NFL Week 16
If anyone takes that job, they need to draft a QB and let Russ be the highest paid backup in sports history if the rookie beats him out. I wouldn't take the job if the management told me Russ absolutely has to be the starter.
Here's what Russ cooked up this year: ![]()

I think Russ will bounce back (not to his old self). I just
Don’t believe he went downhill that quick.

Re: Around the NFL Week 16
I do. I believe he'll go the same way of McNabb, Cam, and any other QB that relied on his mobility to provide his game.
