Re: Terrell Pryor Sr.

My mind is made up on TP after hearing Cooley’s last film review. No effort in run blocking and he’s out there tripping over his own feet. Make this clown inactive and get someone in there who wants to play.

Re: Terrell Pryor Sr.

Wow that went south quick with TP. They should give Quick some reps. Man eff Ryan Grant

Receiver is almost as big an issue as RB this offseason. Both need to be addressed.

FWIW...ProfootballFocus has Garcon rated #9 highest graded WR and DJax is right behind him at #10.

ouch...

PFF, has our highest graded WR as Crowder at #53. Pryor is rated #105 out of #109 total graded WR

Fucking terrible job by the front office. pathetic

Also, time to move on from our WR coach. Peace

Re: Terrell Pryor Sr.

He's done in DC and he knows it, that's why he shows no effort. Plus he is slow footed and can't get open at all, drops passes and can't block. He was a one hit wonder in Cleveland because teams knew they sucked and were an easy W so they just slacked off of him.

Re: Terrell Pryor Sr.

Thank God it was just a one year deal. Can they bring Maurice Harris back? I thought he played pretty decent last year. Although, I don't remember how his blocking was.

Poor choice scouting by the Skins here but good choice by the FO to give him a one year deal so we can move on cleanly next year.

Sucks it didn't work out but this will give the opportunity for some other guy to step up.

Re: Terrell Pryor Sr.

I'm honestly kind of surprised so many people thought Pryor was going to be good here. I shared the opinion of SkinsFaninOK : People slacked off on him because they knew it was cleveland. Anyone that thought Pryor was a fair replacement for Garcon, that's just laughable.... I doubt anyone here thought Pryor could replace Jackson....

Idk, I felt like majority opinion was that it was anybody's guess as to whether he would be a good replacement. I don't think anyone expected a guy still transitioning to wideout to put up better stats than Garcon or Jackson.

At the minimum I was hoping his penchant for drops in Cleveland would be fixed but that definitely hasn't. And his run blocking has been terrible, as has been Doctson's. The way he tries to catch the ball (by trapping it into his chest) indicates a lack of coaching because that is how a lot of drops happen.

At this point not only do we need an upgrade next year, I might think about upgrading at coach too. None of our young guys are developing the way they should be, and that reflects poorly on Ike Hilliard.

This!
Somehow the Browns got a 1000yards out of Pryor last year.
His WR coach that year, Al Saunders.

Hilliard inherited Garcon and Jackson. They were polished receivers.
He isn't doing shit with anyone on this roster.

I feel like this is the same bullshit we dealt with last year with our DBs coach.
Gruden has to address this midseason!!!

Last year was a wasted season because Gruden couldn't deal with disgruntled players (Ihenacho and Baker) and shitty coaching (DB Coach and Dline Coach).

How long can we have receivers coming up 1 yard short on third downs?
This is on Gruden now, he needs to address this NOW.

I agree with this. Hillard had the luxury of having Garcon and Jackson last year, which also really helped to develop Crowder. But, I haven't seen much out of the younger guys.

Per browns Mary Cabot, browns pursued a trade for Pryor

Any good reason not to trade him? I think I would have taken a 4th for him...

With his production, they probably offered us a ham sandwich. Plus we've already paid 3/4 of his 6 mil salary, so we wouldn't have gotten much salary cap relief either. He's worth more than a 7th, especially if we have another injury.

I did see him out there yesterday, but in terms of saying he was actually playing legitimate football, then that's a whole different story.
