I'd think merriweather would actually help us. Trent out is a bad sign, he's so damn good but yet injury prone. Sucks. Pg gives us that speed we need and hopefully hank steps up and has a good game

have we had any luck the past couple years taking a young backup offensive lineman, and training him into being a really good starter?

A bruised foot kept PG out for 3.5 games maybe more. A bruised knee should be at least 2.
