Re: Around the NFL Week 1

With the Cowboys, wake me in December. Giants looking like injuries on the OL and secondary are gonna be issues all year. Sean Locklear and Justin Tryon? WasTaylor Jacobs unavailable?

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

Nice post !! I can't stand dallass , would have loved to see them lose . Maybe the Browns pull of a big win on Sunday and put the dream team in hole to start off 2012 .

Re: Around the NFL Week 1

So look like things haven't change much between these two teams.

The Cowpukes will get their yearly hype by the media of being a SB team, blah, blah, blah. They'll suck towards the end and either miss the playoffs or be one and done.

Meanwhile Giants will go on some slump at the beginning of the season. Around late October Coughlin will somehow be on the hot seat by the overreacting NY media. And they will go on their traditional late season winning streak.

I must say, the first half was booooooooooooooooooring.

This haha.

Also, romo had an above average game, but mostly because the giants secondary was embarrassing. Seriously, people are going to heap praise on him for shredding the likes of Justin Tryon?

Actually if anything the trend is Giants suck at start of season, go on hot streak, win Super Bowl, play like champs the following season, early exit from playoffs. Right now they're bucking their own trend.

Re: Around the NFL Week 1

The Giants played like crap and deserved to lose. They can't seem to win unless their back is completely against the wall and it's way too early for that. That one cowgirl TD where the receiver stopped and the 2 defenders stopped right beside him then he took off for the endzone was actually comical.

Re: Around the NFL Week 1

Giants couldn't win even with a $5 million head start.

Re: Around the NFL Week 1

I thought Romo was rather brilliant last night. I would be concerned if I was Jerry too; without Romo, that team is going to have a hard time coming back. I mean the dude made all the crucial plays by switching up everyone's routes and doing a Peyton Manning. Then, whenever the Giants had a chance to make a play, he was able to roll, move and navigate through the pocket and then throw for a big play.
