Re: Avatars and other graphics

Let them laugh when they get beat with a team with no name, it just adds to the insult lol

Seriously though, Wright is doing a deep dive into the fan base to help make a decision and is not in a rush to do so, which is a good thing.

And I agree, Red wolves is stupid IMO seems forced to me just to keep the “R” in the name. Washington Wolves sounds better and is more concise. I’ve said before if they do pick a nickname I’d like the Redtails, I love the military connection and naturally works with the colors for the most part.

I think they say "The fans input matters" but I don't believe it does.. If that was the case then Red Wolves would be the name because it's been voted as the #1 choice by most fans since the summer.. I think they will just keep it WFT because it's clean and nobody will ever get offended by it. Put the W on the helmets and lets move on

Just because Twitter likes something doesn’t mean it’s a true representation of the fan base as a whole.

The NFL Shop just added the throwback hat I designed a t-shirt after:

I loved that hat back then and that's why I designed the shirt. so happy they brought it back

Re: Avatars and other graphics

I'm fine with sticking with WFT for now and maybe even for the long haul. I once thought getting rid of Redskins would be a big deal, it really hasn't bothered me at all. I think the W on the helmets would look pretty sweet. Maybe continue to tweak the uniform a bit.

Re: Avatars and other graphics

I still say go back to the throwbacks full time and make a white jersey for it.

They could even make the leather helmet a full-time helmet.

Team looks GREAT a few weeks ago!

Maybe adjust the helmet colors to match the throwbacks:

Re: Avatars and other graphics

I loved the throwbacks, I just wish they would've gotten a little creative and put a throwback type Washington wordmark across the front.

I also agree that the leather helmet full time would be great if they dont adopt a nick name.

Re: Avatars and other graphics

I still think having a cool name, mascot and symbol is the way to go. Red wolves or just Wolves is the way to go. It isn’t just a Twitter led suggestion. All the polls show fans are largely in favor of this name.

The Red Tails is a good story, but not well known.

Why not go with the fan favorite for once. The WFT was an interim choice because Snyder was shocked that he had to act so quickly to change the name. He doesn’t react to pressure well and had no PLAN B if forced to make the change. Most likely his arrogance caused him to think he’d always win on this issue. Hopefully he will keep staying aloof, disconnected and arrogant enough to mount a weak defense when they force him to sell the team
