Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Quote:
John Harbaugh, Sean McDermott, and Doug Pedersen has been pretty successful. Compared to the BB tree coaches, even Ron has had more success in his career. The BB coaching tree is full of flops who come from inflated expectations because they coach for BB and had Tom Brady as QB.

Good read - personally not sure it makes a difference firing McDaniels now or after the season but obviously Mark Davis is smart enough to know when it's not working. Now comes the hard part - hiring a permanent guy to lead them. Also Davis gotta be hurting - between Jon Gruden and McDaniels they are paying an assload of money to two HC's not working for them anymore.

I’m not sure why not go extremely hard after Jim Harbaugh?

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Jim can't win a NC in college with all that talent he has on his teams. He's not his brother when it comes to coaching.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
If Harris hires BB and trades a pick I’m not sure that ain’t a Dan move ..😳 Convince me I’m wrong …

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
I'll try. I can't see Harris hiring a 71 year-old man to coach this team. BB looks to be very, very tired these days. Also BB hasn't been winning nearly as much without having an All-World QB on his side. Bill will want total control and Harris might find it to be wiser to hire a GM who reports to him and who can develop a top-notch FO staff that can carry on the work in the event of a coaching change.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
I guess we gotta trust The new Owners … it will be interesting for sure !! I just hope that Sam plays great the rest of year and we can move on from the QB search .. there is no reason our Offense can’t do well ..

Would have to agree, which is why it's not happening.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Bill Belichick is a great head coach. But I would be concerned about his age. Plus he hasn't done jack shit without Brady.
