Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
Why would any sane team trade for Romo and his $25 million dollar cap hit/ salary ?

I thought you were saying we would be on the hook for $25m. Either way none of this makes sense. |

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
If this trade goes through, man, I may just give up watching skins games after 25 years. Seriously. It would be the definition of incompetence

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
Romo has played 5 games in the last two seasons and I think he's had the same collar bone broken twice and a compression fracture of a vertebrae.
The idiots will probably trade for a broken down Romo and then draft a lousy QB prospect at #17. What did we fans ever do to deserve this kind of Keystone Kops team management? Hell, they probably didn't send Scot home - he left on his own volition and they can't get him to come back to work!

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
I've said this for years, Tony is a beast when healthy but he's 37 now.... I honestly don't think the skins want Kirk anymore

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
Here's what might be happening:
- Kirk's pissed off and doesn't want to play for the Redskins. - His agent is telling the Redskins that Kirk wants a trade to SF and only SF. - SF wants Kirk but they don't want to give up the #2 pick in the draft. If I were negotiating for the Redskins, at this point I would: - Tell Kirk and his agent that I would try to trade him to SF. - I would also tell them that if I can't get a fair trade, they have four choices: They can agree to accept a trade elsewhere, they can resume negotiations, Kirk can sign the Franchise Tag deal, or Kirk can sit out the 2017 season. - I would tell SF that the only way they can get Kirk is by way of a deal that starts with the #2 pick and that the Skins will be keeping their #17 pick. There will be no swap of 1st Round picks. - Then I wouldn't worry about it anymore. Whatever happens happens.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
People speculating and talking out their asses. Even Tandler says so:
It’s officially ridiculous. Says here on NFL site that the Cowboys would end up with the No. 2 overall pick. No way.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
This is the worst rumor out of every rumor I have ever heard. Cowboys get rid of Romo, we get worse at qb, SF gets Kirk, and Cowboys get #2 draft pick? That trade is so insanely, mind-boggling terrible even Madden wouldn't approve it.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
If this trade goes down, the number 2 overall pick would go to Dallas. That's crazy as shit and makes no sense for the Skin's. Romo is not worth a first round pick at age 37.
