Re: In the Hole - Post Game Thread

Sure losing to Dallas sucks. But.

The offside call on Jon Allen leading to their first TD was ticky tacky AF... DL line up this way all the time and it's almost never called

The DPI on WJ3 leading to 21 - 0 late in the 2nd was complete bullshit

Gibson's fumble

Carter's drop

Both Fuller and Jamin Davis dropped quite easy INTs

...

Despite all that + our offense not being able to move the ball for more than half of the game + all the injuries, we had a shot till the Allen's fumble.

Defense played REALLY well. Let's not downplay the fact Dallas' offense only scored 1 TD.

Also loved the heart shown to come back into this game while every body from fans to the announcers had checked out.

Heck, a lot of us wanted to split with Dallas and win the other games. That's still in play. We're still in the race for a wild card spot. We just lost a one score game to a division rival that we didn't think we had any business competing with 5 weeks ago. Not the end of the world. Not the end of the season. Not the end of our playoffs hunt!

Thx. always hard to bitch about the zebras when we were down 24 zero at the half...
But I'm still not over the fact this was flagged as offside... we would've held them to 3 points after the intercepted screen... Big turning point in the game.

(EDIT: yeah let's make sure you cut the sound when you're making a gif, genius...)

I hate to be this way but man it’s because it was Dallas and the Nfl loves Jerry. There were blatant bad calls on us today and the ref even smiled at a few calls as he was calling it on air. The PI on WJ3 was trash too. Also TH got hit in the legs on a couple throws but no flag??? Fuck off Refs POS

Just tell him it is too bad Dak doesn’t play defense too.

Or say “good loss” and give him a thumbs up.

What a game to lay an egg. It does speak well for this team that in spite of being completely dominated all game they were in position to win at the end. Had Heinicke been in at the end WFT may have pulled it out. That said, WFT has to address the QB situation on the off-season. Whether through the draft or free agency this team needs a QB.

If DC catches that dime from Allen I think we would have eventually won the game.

If I'm a Dallas fan, I'm worried about my 40M QB.. Dak has been bad for about 4-5 weeks now and they continue to talk about his leg.. He should have had 4 picks yesterday if Davis and Fuller had hands.. With all of his weapons and great OL vs a bunch of backups on our DL... Not impressed with that Cowboys O

They scored one damn touchdown and it was off a turnover and started at our 41. And there was the whole acceptance of the penalty (which could have been declined leaving them at 3rd and 5). Obviously hindsight but point is they had one td and it was off a turnover on our side of the field and still was far from easy.
Not impressed at all. We make half the mistakes we made and we win. I would say it sucks to go to Dallas for next game but we might as well have been there yesterday! Thanks Dan. You idiot.

Re: In the Hole - Post Game Thread

I wonder why we haven't played Sims that much this year? Sims often make plays whenever he has the opportunity, which is something we cannot say the same for Samuels and Brown. Sims should have been #2 WR.

The game yesterday was ugly, although I have to credit the team for not giving up until the end. It would have been easy for the team to give up early in the game but they fought until the end. It will be interesting to see how the team will perform this Sunday.

Brown makes no sense. They are playing him simply because he is their draft pick. He can't even stay on his feet and almost cost an int.

He also can't get open, that dude has a corner on him every throw. He looks like another 3rd or 4th WR on most teams

Yeah he has been disappointing to say the least. And wtf is with Samuel? Worst groin injury in the history of sports or what? Two targets yesterday? McLaurin not been around. Thomas out. McKissic out. So u feed AG who feeds the other team. I mean even if TH was playing well how would we know?
