LOL!

"Orakpo and Carriker are out for the season!"

"I've got the perfect solution, let's bring in some more wide receivers! Brilliant!"

Wait a minute! So with the new IR rules, isn't it possible that if Orakpo is able to comeback even if we put him on IR? You guys think he has any chance of coming back this year if so?

I thought we put Sundberg on that special IR spot. Plus, I think Rak needs to get healthy, especially since this is basically re-injuring his pectoral muscle.

We did? I wasn't sure if we used that for Sundberg or not. I was thinking we haven't.

We did.

Quote:
The Redskins designated Sundberg for return under a new NFL rule that allows each team to re-activate one player per year from IR. Under the rule, Sundberg must miss at least six weeks of practices and at least eight games.

Nick Sundberg says he’ll be ready to play when IR time is up

Well darn it! Of course, it's probably best for Orakpo. No need to rush him back anyway I guess. I look at it like this, having the next guy(s) up will only strengthen our depth and experience, so let's see what happens!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Keep Kerrigan healthy!

Probably best to shut him down and let him get back to 100%. I don't think he was fully recovered from that re-aggravation from the preseason. It was probably only a matter of time before he messed it up again.

We used the IR option on our long snapper.

Some of the same people who wanted to trade Orackpo on this website or now calling for doom because he's gone. Rob Jackson stepped up before and played well for us. I'm sure he can do it again.
