"Whenever Rosenhaus has a disgruntled client, Redskins Park phone numbers are among the first he dials, league sources said. When Owens became available in 2006, former coach Joe Gibbs kept him out of the building because of his concerns about stirring strife in the locker room, team sources said. But Gibbs is back in NASCAR and Snyder and Cerrato still like those big receivers. Their attempts to provide big targets for quarterback Jason Campbell - and more options for Coach Jim Zorn as he installed his version of a spread offense - did not turn out well in 2008. Washington used its first three draft picks on wideouts Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly, and pass-catching tight end Fred Davis". The paragraph above scares the crap out of me and I think it is 100% true. |

I think there is no way in h*** that we will, but if there was one move that could turn me off of the FO, signing TO would certainly be it.

Re: Cowboys cut T.O.
My logic is fairly simple. If we just parted ways with a 34 year old, soon to be 35 year old defensive end, who by all accounts is a stand-up guy. Why in the world would we sign a 35 year old wide receiver with baggage, a history of being divisive, and would command a nice chunck of money for a season or two?
The only way I see T.O. coming to D.C. is if our wideout corps has been depleted due to injuries come mid-season. |

Re: Cowboys cut T.O.
If we hadn't made a commitment to two new WRs, plus a receiving TE last spring and if we still had Gibbs who could control TO I'd definitely consider him. But now, even with some doubts about Kelly's knees and a still new head coach in Zorn, along with TO's age, I don't think he's the right fit here. He can still play though.
Giants makes sense for him. Other teams that could make sense are New Orleans, Tennessee, and the Vikings. Maybe even the Ravens and Colts.

Re: Cowboys cut T.O.
Everyone, If your sticking around waiting to see if TO becomes a Skin. Your wasting your time.
1) We did'nt want him when we could have got him 2) He wants to play in the NFC East not the other way around 3) He would greatly hinder the development of Campbell (Demanding ball hog) 4) We just signed DeAngelo Hall to a lot of $,$$$,$$$ we dont risk shutting him down 5) He is without a doubt still one of the best WR in the league IMO. But, his age will catch him this coming season. He missed a lot of passes in 08' 6) He would hinder Moss and cause disruption with our WR's 7) We don't need him. 8) He would be distracted by Homo at Cowgirls games

Just stop, he's not coming here. And I doubt NY would want another head case WR either.

![]() There are some less than knowledgable Redskins fans at my work who LOVE that Owens is available and they are putting the B&G on him already. It's funny as hell and really scary at the same time. Unforntunately, I imagine Dan Snyder is just like my co-workers.

Re: Cowboys cut T.O.
Why not sign Marvin Harrison, instead of T.O.? What's the difference? One is a certified headcase, the other is the quiet assassin. If we haven't signed Marvin Harrison by now why would we sign TO?

Re: Cowboys cut T.O.
Cause if I'm not mistaken Harrison is like 5-11 which puts him right in company or close to it with Moss and El. We need an elite tall WR with some weight behind him not a small WR like we already have. I thought of Harrison also until I looked at his size and weight. I also looked at Holt but I thought he got picked back up by SL. He's also very old.
