I'm had enough of Gibson. The fumbling is just inexcusable.

The only reason he’s still with the team is the speed he has for his size, is hard to find anywhere. Someone needs to drill to his head to protect the ball or you are not playing.

I will give up .14 seconds (in 40 yards) to make sure we retain possession of the football. He's not that anomalous.

Same here. I wish we could have moved on from him and gotten someone like J. McKinnon.

Truth is that average is a lofty aspiration for this team, we are bad and have been throughout Rivera's tenure.

The whole we suck thing pre- dates Ron. We sucked throughout Snyders tenure.
The new owner is here, but has not had a chance to put his stamp on things. Not much you can do when you arrive on the scene in basically August. Everyone and everything around him is Dan Snyder. Maybe the feeling and the vibe changed, but physically it is still the same team and organization. It was never going to be drastically different this year.
Remember we all were saying when Snyder actually sells that this season is a win no matter what? I feel like everyone was just saying that now. Lol. That still holds true because no matter what happens this year, nobody can say things are never going to change with Dan Snyder here. We will never get competent people to come here. They are going to come here and things will change drastically.
Still a lot of trash to take out. Still a lot of new people (presumably competent ones) to arrive. A draft and a huge free agency period with an actual GM. Not Ron fuckin Rivera who only cares if you played for or drove thru Carolina when he was there.

Re: Bills Post-Game Thread

I think the Snyder stuff when it comes to Ron is overblown. He hired Ron and left him alone. Ron had to deal with all the off field crap and name change, that w/out question was a distraction but he's been able to do his own thing here.

Gruden had to deal w/ way more than Ron. Ron got to bring in his own coaches and players. He perhaps had to take on Haskins in order to get the job, if that's true then that's his own fault.

I think Ron has got the team back to respectability. But that's as far as we're going w/ him.

Oh im in no way excusing Ron for anything, just pointing out that we have been non contenders forever.

Re: Bills Post-Game Thread

We will not reach playoffs with this staff .. EB confuses Sam with Patrick .. Ron just stands there arms folded , Jack has a lot of talent at his disposal and yet still can’t get it done ..
Philly will win 13 games , Dallas 10 games , Giants 8 games , we will be lucky to win 7 games .. Snyder is gone and we need to let New Owners evaluate and hopefully we get better ..
I’m interested in seeing if Howell is the answer at QB .. That is the only reason I’m interested in this season .. I’m more disappointed in EB play calling than Sam( he is more or less a rookie ) what is EB’s excuse ??
We get absolutely Destroyed next week
Philly 52 us 13 .. Sam won’t finish and Brissett won’t do any better because we have no coaching ..

Re: Bills Post-Game Thread

There's four new starters on the O-line (if you include Cosmi). They made the O-line a priority, and they are better than last year's unit. If you had someone calling plays that would take into account the fact that you have a rookie QB...if you had a more seasoned QB who could get rid of the ball on time and get into the right plays/protections based on what the opposing defense is doing, it wouldn't look as bad as it has.

It's still early, but if they get stomped by Philly because the new OC can't adjust to his personnel and the opposing D, then I don't want to hear anymore about him replacing Ron.

Re: Bills Post-Game Thread

Agree to disagree. This o line unit is just as bad or worse through 3 games. I hope they improve or something changes scheme wise to assist them. They are hot trash.

2 seconds to the qb majority of the game Sunday. No qb, I don't care how seasoned, is going to perform fantastic under those conditions. And EB sucked Sunday. Too stubborn and ego driven to adjust in game. Hope he takes a long look in the mirror and swallows whatever pride he's clinging to.

And just because they have 4 new bodies, below average bodies, doesn't say "priority" at all lol.

Rolling with new ppl doesn't mean they took the time or gave it the attention needed. Priority would be a shot at improvement, not regression until prove otherwise... to me anyway.

Re: Bills Post-Game Thread

OL has been a slow-moving train wreck since last year. Anyone who thought we addressed it in any real way before the season was fooling themselves.

the bad news is there's no way to fix the lack of talent on the OL. adjustments can be made though (more runs, quicker QB decisions, better chips by backs and ends, etc.)

That said, the sky isn't falling. This week's team is not significantly different than the one that won the first 2 games. Rookie QB + bad OL means we're going to take losses. Allen had a 4 int game 2 weeks ago; sometimes things just don't work out.

The improvement at QB, WR, and DB should leave us with a better team this year. Hopefully this offseason they finally get another LB and 3+ OL. I don't like that Howell is heading towards 90+ sacks at this rate, that has given other QBs the yips before.
