Re: Election Day Thread - Nov. 3, 2020
Acting like you’re immune to bias while being bias ... yesh. Not a good look, shows lack of self awareness and inability to be self critical. I know I’m bias against trump but I’m not arrogant enough to be denial about it and then parade that false sense of self as some trophy showing my thought processes are superior to others.
SD, sorry to let you down but your bias buddy. Your shit stinks just like the rest of us. CRED is the one guy I think is truly middle moderate but leans slightly right here to offset the left lean.

Re: Election Day Thread - Nov. 3, 2020
I really considered not voting this time out. I'm not a big fan of Biden. My vote is 110% anti-Trump and I think that's what a lot of people are voting for. So save me with the Biden/Harris hate train, I don't care.

I've been saying this for awhile now. I look at Biden very much like Gerald Ford, just someone who would calm things down till both parties can find someone who knows what they are doing. He is a one term President.

Re: Election Day Thread - Nov. 3, 2020
My goal going forwards for myself is to not be disrespectful to anyone no matter how much I disagree with someone. Politics are heated so it's not going to be all rainbows and unicorns. But that also doesn't justify being a complete dick either. I'll work on being better.

Yeah I remember them. They were here in dc- full force. I sat right next to a ton of them on the metro. They were civilized, didn't loot, riot or damage any property. They protested just like MLK use to. They protested just like you are supposed to protest.

Yeah mostly peaceful, there was some ugly racist stuff sprinkled in, but we're in a different time. I don't think putting Biden in office means peace and quiet and all is well from the opposition.

Re: Election Day Thread - Nov. 3, 2020
I mean the Boston Tea Party was pretty violent and racist obviously since the dressed up as indians (probably called themselves the Redskins too) But the modern Tea Party protests weren't anywhere close violence or aggression wise to the anti-Trump crowds we have seen.

Just got a text message asking for a political donation. And they called me Patricia. That isn't my name. Lol. I think I'll keep my money.

Re: Election Day Thread - Nov. 3, 2020
Question 1 of state ballot. Allows legislature to increase/decrease budget after governor approves. I voted no. Feel like state legislature would just add and add to budget
