Re: Giants part 1 Dumpster Fire postgame
This was a competitive game. We have many holes on this team. We’ll have very high draft picks and a huge amount of cap money to rebuild this team.
Rivera said this year was about evaluating players. He got off that by the sirens call of perhaps competing for the NFC East. Lol. We’ve got too many holes or overrated players. REMEMBER: This team is MOSTLY a bunch of players picked by SNYDER and Bruce Allen. Almost all of them suck! It will take 2 years to drain this swamp and replace many with NFL caliber players. I think Kyle Smith can find replacements but it will take time. Allen is exactly what was projected. Good passer who has turnovers. He made many passes that Haskins can only dream about. Allen is playing for the #2 QB spot NEXT YEAR. He will also allow RR and Smith to evaluate WR like Cam Smith to see if he can be the #4 WR next year. Some guys are just injured too much or just not to the answer. AGG, Charles, BOTH our safeties, Martin and Haskins just aren’t ready. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Giants part 1 Dumpster Fire postgame
OK, let me get this out of the way...Kyle Allen is a BUM, stays in the pocket too long, holds the ball too long, fumbles, throws interceptions.. there's no confidence here in his play as far as I'm concerned and I don't wanna hear any of that[well he's a young QB crap]he is what he is-a backup guy.. he's supposed to know this system and can't play any better than this? we won't win another game this year...you think we're gonna beat Dallas who can score with this dude at QB?? good luck with that!!

Re: Giants part 1 Dumpster Fire postgame
The d line is the least of the problems. LBs suck. Bostic showed out last year and this year gets fucked on the weekly. The DBs suck. Every single of them
Just to remind you Collins got outran by a QB, damn near $100 million dollars got out ran by not Cam, not Lamar, not Danger Russ.. Daniel.Jones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Giants part 1 Dumpster Fire postgame
Scott Turner offensive play calling is hard for me to grade. Everything is within 10 yards of the LOS and its like 1st and 2nd down plays are designed to try and get into a 3rd and short. Like making it 3rd and managable is the goal.
Every play seems to be a low risk, take what the D gives you play call, with the hope someone can break a tackle and make more yards than the play is designed to get. There are no intermediate to deep throws. There are no throws to stretch a defense or keep safeties honest. I read that Turner called lots of short stuff last year bc he was adjusting his scheme around his QB Allen who had a weak arm. But then this year with Haskins we saw a bunch of short stuff so I thought maybe Haskins isnt seeing the deeper routes? We have been calling 10 variations of screens with Haskins, tons of slip screens ... yesterday I dont remember seeing one screen call. I think we have been blessed to have Gruden, McVay and OConnell calling plays for us because those guys play designs were on point. The routes worked well together - forced a defender to have pick btw 2 routes allows the QB to just read that 1 defender - they were layered well (long, medium, short) so the Qb progressions were smooth - they would do a variation of the same look later in the game. I dont think we threw it over 20 yards until we got within 20 yards of the end zone. Seems intentional and maybe its the smart play with the lack of O talent. We cant get into a shootout with teams so control the ball, control the clock, hope your D can get a turnover or two and do just enough on offense to kick a game winning FG as the clock expires. Playcalling .. especially after watching what McVay/OConnell did to us last week .. seems weak.

Re: Giants part 1 Dumpster Fire postgame
Hell no, we can lose the rest of our games and only beat Dallas, and I'm satisfied with that season.

Re: Giants part 1 Dumpster Fire postgame
Collins can’t play in space...go back and watch him on the Daniel Jones run, especially at the los...
After you watch the Daniel jones run, come here and explain to me how in gods name did Dan and Bruce give him that contract? They made him the highest paid on year avg safety in the league

Re: Giants part 1 Dumpster Fire postgame
I’ll say this, those 2 turnovers by Kyle were terrible.
But, the two TD throws were perfect, best TD throws of the year. Both were contested catches and perfectly put where only the receivers could get them. Nice throws.

Re: Giants part 1 Dumpster Fire postgame
He's better than Haskins but he is another Case Keenum type..

Re: Giants part 1 Dumpster Fire postgame
You know, I think he could be better than Keemun but a guy who is suited as a no 2 who knows the offense has value.
