Your favorite coach...lol. To not have at least one safety on the last play of the game where Oakland had to go deep is inexcusable. Shouldn't have waited until today. Should have been fired right after game.

The corner also played just pathetic coverage. He bit on a double move. No point of doing that when all you had to do was play the deep ball.

Just bad all around but GW has to take the fall for putting his db in that position.

Even though he made the bad call, he's just a scapegoat for Jets. The real issue is Adam Gase.

What Williams did yesterday is absolutely fireable. I mean Gase sucks. Whole staff sucks but with one play left and half a field to go you under no circumstances send the house. Absolute trash call. That is the equivalent of passing on the last play of the game when you have the lead!

And some wanted him as our HC. He’s a loser from the Jeff Fisher school of shit.

Is Wentz really playing that bad or is his O Line playing that bad? I know he has been the most sacked QB in the NFL like around 60 Times. Heck one game he was sacked 8 times.

Re: Around the NFL week 13

Just saw the replay of the Jets blitz vs raiders. Wow. Credit the raiders for leaving 7 in to pass pro.

If I was a Jets fan, I think Id love it. Youre in a very tight race with Jacksonville (1-11) for Trevor Lawrence. Winning that game does absolutely nothing positive for you.

Its not quite as comical as Zorn calling the swing gate TWICE in his lame duck coaching season but its close and I loved the swing gate when it was happening live. Perfect cherry on top to a complete shit show of a season.

Re: Around the NFL week 13

How do any of you know that Williams wasn't just following orders from the top, to secure that #1 pick?

I don't but if he was, he probably wouldn't lose his job. Maybe he is back next year with a pay raise after the draft?

Because if you take the time to think about the logistics of it, it seems insane. Do you think Woody Johnson or one of his top lieutenants took the time to relay a message down to Gregg Williams that in the off-chance the game came down to one or two final plays, he needed to send a call that would give the Raiders the best chance to win?

Does Woody Johnson have a direct headset line to Gregg? Or does Woody Johnson send his assistant on the sideline a message to give to Gregg? Or does Johnson's assistant give the message to Gase who gives the message to Gregg? Or did Gase call the D and use Gregg as a scapegoat? Did Woody Johnson's assistant bypass Gase entirely and give the direct message to Gregg? What was the message? "Hey Gregg need you to blow the game here, can't lose that #1 pick in the 50/50 chance Trevor Lawrence declares for the draft." Did his assistant tell Gregg to call Cover 0? What kind of timeframe was this accomplished in? Did everything go down in the 20 seconds Gregg has to make the call? Did it happen with several minutes left in the 4th before they had any idea the game would come down to the last 20 seconds? Alls I'm saying is if we're gonna make asinine conspiracy theories, we need some sort of smoking gun to establish credibility. If not, you're just talking out of your ass.

BTW the alternative is that a coordinator with 20 years of calling aggressive defense made an aggressive call that he thought was ballsy AF and it ended up costing them the game.

I honestly think double G wanted some style points to accentuate the Jets first win of the season .. bc thats how self centered narcissistic a-holes do, they want credit for any tiny success.

My 2 cents is GW doesn't take orders form anyone. He's an old outlaw renegade and died an outlaws death. Doubtful he ever gets another shot in the NFL after this one and man did he go out with a bang. Unfortunately there is no place in the NFL for these type of guys anymore. I liked him under Gibbs pt 2. D wasn't the problem. I'm kinda going to miss the guy.

I hate when Joe Buck talks. In general.

Nahhh....I think he'll get another job. He can still scheme up a defense better than a lot of them. Nobody thought he'd be back after the bounty gate...but, he came back.
