Re: Skins Birds gameday thread
Knew this team was never as good as 6-3. I dont care which bum is playing quarterback. We were going to lose out. You could see it coming when we got torched for 550 yards by the fucking Bucs. We will be last place in the division and draft a bunch of turds like we usually do. Dan Snyder has officially turned a once proud franchise into an absolute laughing stock. We are the Lions. We are the Browns. We are the Raiders.

Re: Skins Birds gameday thread
I absolutely made it a point to mention that I was drinking the kool aid. Got pumped up for the game. Now that I have seen what 11 days off got us it is clear that the team was not as pumped as i was. Came out flat. Stayed flat. We got lucky to be in it at halftime. Gruden, as I have been saying for about three years pretty consistently is completely out of his league. |

But the Defense had plenty of time to prepare. They screened us to death and bounced so many runs to the outside. Their throws looked way to easy.

But the defense has really ticked me off. The opposition have relentlessly taken advantage of Mason Foster's lack of speed and lack of ability to diagnose, and taken advantage of Zach Brown's poor or slow reaction to diagnose and get to the ball when it's thrown (Brown is one of the fastest LBs in the league, but his awareness isn't quite there). The opposition has also attacked our edges in the running game. Targeting Smith and Kerrigan. Payne has also been a mixed bag during the past 5 weeks, if not longer. Add that in, along with, what I'd consider to be an average DC in Manusky, and this is what you have with this defense. The offense is gonna be handcuffed (it's not like they were setting the world on fire from the jumpstreet) more so than it was previously, and the offense can't count on the defense to put them in the best situation as they've fallen flat since the Falcons game. Season is over. |

Re: Skins Birds gameday thread
Cousins and the team's stupid decision not to trade him when Kyle Shanahan wanted him in SF set the team back worst IMO (and it was more recently.

Re: Skins Birds gameday thread
Maybe but when you have a good QB you don't trade him. Even if they did you're getting draft picks for a team that doesn't draft well.

The Doctson cravens draft was a bigger bust. Doctson and Preston Smith are not starters and will not start in the NFL next year. |

Goes back way earlier than even that to when Snyder bought the team. All those years of trading picks for aged superstars and coaching carousels. The shit stadium. The bad press. Etc. etc. etc. etc. |
