If he's 80 percent or less, it's a problem. We won't know anything maybe ever. Just wanna win, but I agree this may have legs that he really is injured. Doubt they would roll him out there if it is career threatening but it is the NFC title game. Imagine they will do anything to not play Pickett.

Sirianni is a dick, but would he really do an RG3 on Hurts? That pretty much ended both their careers, so if he pushes Hurts to play with a bum knee, he's not just risking his franchise QB.

IMO I think Pickett is serviceable. With that defence and Barkley he only needs to be a game manager.

His arm strength is not good and he's not mobile. Just can't see Daniels losing to Pickett. I'll take that matchup 10/10 times. Hurts is very likely going to play. Kid is tough as nails. Just very curious about his effectiveness especially since he's a running qb.

I believe there was already structural damage to RG3's leg the day he was hit by Ngota. I don't think there's any structural damage to Hurts' knee. I simply believe it's either a sprained knee or sprained MCL. The latter being worse than the former, but both will limit his mobility and what he can do as a runner. It may also further limit his ability to pass (ie, stepping into throws) which he's already struggling to do.

As I said earlier, we'll find out after the Eagles' first possession or two if he's truly bothered by his knee. Once we're assured he's limited in his ability to move; stack the box the remainder of the game.

Second Rule of Tandler:

Never listen to a player about their injuries.

Hurts is not going to be able to move around much, and if they're not careful they could be looking at their own RG3 ACL moment.

We have moved the ball pretty effectively against the Eagles both times. We need to be a little more judicious than going forward on 4th because in both games we had critical 4th and one stops that led to Saquon Barkley explosive plays.

My prediction is that we don't have the turnovers this time and score on 6th of 8th drives With Tress Way punting twice - Got to make him earn his NFC Championship game pay!
Barkley will get Two touchdowns 175 yds. Goederd adds one more.

Final score 38-27

Sidebar: I miss Tandler. I hope he's somewhere seeing this team being successful.

Re: Skins v Iggles Winner Goes to SB Pre-Game

The key to this game will be containing Saquon. The first meeting we played it close for 3 quarters until our defense got tired from playing too much and Barkley busted it loose in the 4th. 2nd game obviously knocking out Hurts helped.

I'm confident Jayden and co. will put in the work to be successful on offense, but we don't need to get into another shootout. The Eagles are basically a better team everywhere except qb. Buuut Jayden is probably the most clutch rookie qb this league has ever seen, so anything is possible. Should be an entertaining game. I'm pretty worried about Jalen Carter on defense though, if they can contain Jayden like they did in the first matchup it will be very tough.

Also +1 for "I never thought the Commanders would be in the NFCCG in year one of Dan Quinn/Adam Peters/Jayden Daniels." May this be the first of many.

Agree

Knock the piss out of Saquon

They posted a video today. He is mobile, whether it holds up for 60 minutes is a question, but he will be able to add some running threat

Mobile in spurts or mobile for the camera is different than being mobile the entire game.
