20 - 7 skins win behind the two headed running attack

Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants predictions

Redskins 24
Giants 17

Carlos Rogers has a football dematerialize on approach, pass through his chest, and re-materialize behind him whilst he waves his arms at thin air.

On a more serious note, I see 150 yards on the ground, about 250 through the air for Campbell. I also think Eli will get 300+ through the air, a pair of TDs to Shockey/Buress and an INT, but their running game will be ineffective and their D will get pretty well ripped up.

Possibly even a bigger day for Campbell & Co. if the Giants secondary is really that bad.

Well I was spot on with the score...just the OTHER way of course.

Redskins are going to have a field day on this Giant team. The Redskins D will dominated and the Offense will run like a well oiled machine. Holding the Giants to nothing but field goals.

Redskins 27
Giants 9

Portis with 100yds and 1TD
J. Cam with 260 yds and 2 TDs
Santana Moss 80yds 1 TD
Cooley with 60yds 1 TD

Payback is a bitch! Portis/Betts will combine for 250yds rushing and run the clock down keeping the Giants offense off the field.

Skins 24
Gmen 12 (no td, all FG's once again!)

I think we win, but with second half heroics. I think we win and win decisively, but not after a letdown in the first half.

Redskins 35, Giants 21.

The Giants are a dangerous team at this point so I say

Skins 17
Giants 3

After the first half

Skins 30
Giants 16

Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants predictions

I think you can break this game down pretty easily.

We obviously have the better defense, but their passing offense is superior.
If we look at the QB position I think it can really go either way with Eli. One day he is amazing next day he just sucks. But right now our run game is pretty good compared to theirs. So I am not sure which offense really is better. I would think we are more balanced and developing in a positive way.

But beside that we are better coached, better defense, and coming off two wins. So our confidence is higher as well. Along with home field, all this adds up to favor the Skins.

You guys are right we stink right now......I hate the coach and the D is a mess...................but "any team can beat any other team on any given day".........and we won't go 1-16.

Giants 23

Skins 20

I think that maybe the loss of some of the O line starters is begining to take it's toll.

I'll tell you what scares me is some of the interview clips I've seen of the Giant's players in the past few days. Man, those guys are PISSED. I'm afraid that NY is going to come out on the field with such intensity and so POed over the last two weeks that it will be a disastrous upset.

Now I'm all nervous...

But wasn't our defense pissed all last year too? And we ALL know how that worked out...

They've been pissed ever since Coughlin took over there. Trouble is they're too busy being pissed at each other and the coaches. That team is coming apart at the seams right now.

Here's hoping that they keep that anger focused internally. I have no expectation whatsoever that the Giants will turn that anger into anything long term and salvage their season, but maybe just enough to play spoiler for one game...

No, you won't go 1-16. 0-16 however is a much bigger possibility.
