For a second there I thought that maybe we had gone at the same time but the time frame is a good 6 years off Anyway I put in two years myself. Definitely an awesome experience. Not only do you get to play more football then you would otherwise but you also get to meet the players as well. During my time I saw Doug Brown, Stephen Davis, Edwin Muliatno, and obviously Art Monk. I also learned that a Super Bowl ring weighs about as much as 32 pennies, a bit of knowledge I attribute to Muliatno. Also one of the coolest parts is getting 'coached up' by the players that show up for a session.

Which college did you attend? I went to George Mason and the school where the Ravens held their training camp during the Billick era (which was a bitch because we didn't have AC in the dorms).

We had ours at Western Maryland College, which is now called McDaniel College, in Westminster. Ironically, that's where the ravens' have their training camp now.

Thats the one. I knew they changed the college name around the year or so after I left so I didn't know if you'd recognize the name Western Maryland, but yeah that hot sticky place is where I went for my second year of Art Monk Football camp.

My first year I went with my cousin who had really bad allergies, so they gave us a room with A/C. The next year I was on the same floor as Art's son, James, so he used to stop by from time to time.

Yes, when I was 9 years old I dated my cousin. It was a glorious summer, filled with romance and Jolt cola. When I think back on our matching flat tops and Zubaz Art Monk Football Camp hats my heart floats like a lilly pad on a lake.

I mean, we went to camp together.

Re: What is the meaning of your screen name?

trifle was taken on aim and a couple other websites so I just decided to respell it, sounded kinda german so I don't know, just a play on that.. I was trifle on several websites for years though but now I'm not sure if I could switch back

trifle = something not to be taken seriously

I joke around a lot so that's mostly what it's about

I actually selected it by flipping through a dictionary with my eyes closed and putting my finger down on a word and got "trifle" and then decided to give it another try and pick between the two.. well there was some international section in the dictionary and my finger landed on something (don't recall) that listed trifle, I don't recall if it was a definition, translation, or what really.. just knew that with my personality and hitting the word twice it was meant to be

this was circa 1999
