The Reskins have the coolest color combo in the entire NFL, and it has remained sharp since the current uniform scheme was introduced at the beginning of the Gibbs era. Maybe they want to have a redo for Shanny, but I am not so sure we will get the same results. I guess I am more of an anti hype guy anymore. It seems the more they hype something up, the less genuine or less quality that object or product is. Unfortunately, in this case , it means the NFL.

It's the off-season bro. Also, allow us to enjoy this conversation about the uniforms without steering it off the proverbial doom and gloom cliff.

Thanks.

Nothing to do with doom and gloom, just those are the facts. It is a marketing gimmick and hype.

No one in the NFL beats the San Diego throwbacks.

Re: 2012 NFL Uniform Thread - Nike takes over

I loce the creamsicle uniforms, they should return full time.

I also love the Pat Patriot uniforms. Maybe I'm biased because my high school used uniforms identical to these, but I think they're SO much better than the ugly new Flying Elvis look. The white helmets and red jerseys look far better than the dull silver and boring navy blue jerseys.

Even if they'd go back to that color scheme with the new logo, it would be a big upgrade:

The team I really miss...the Houston Oilers. I loved their uniforms. The Titans' look is hideous to me, shoulder panels, block numbers and a horribly-designed logo.

is far better than

Also, Vikings throwbacks > current

Those pants stripes/jersey side panels are HORRBLE. Different colors, do not line up...just ugly.

I agree. Those old Oilers uniforms and the AFL ones destroy the Titans gear.
