That is exactly why I avoid making gym friends.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

The gym sure can be full of fail at times.

Some use it more as a place to socialize, which I don't have a huge problem with in theory, just be respectful of those that are there to, I dunno, actually get in a workout.

I'm thankful to have a gym that's part of our HOA, it's on the small side but usually there may only be one or two people there at a time. Still, you find those that crank up the TV to ungodly volumes, and those that don't wipe down equipment - which is one of my biggest gym pet peeves. Clean up after your sweaty ass!

Look at my post 553; this thread has been doing some weird things. I went to quote GMScud and that is what it gave me as a quote. Weird.

Sorry!

I did it on tapatalk I wonder if that is what made it do that.

The post I quoted was from 2004 or something and in a totally different thread!

^^ lol, I saw that and was wondering - Who the hell is this Scot guy and why is mredskins quoting him.

I just figured you were instigating things with complete disrespect to others.

That really grinds my gears.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

I work at a gym so i've seen it all when it comes to craziness there. Usually, my biggest pet peeve is when people I would never want to look like, tell me all the things that I should be doing or their secret workouts.

Don't get me wrong; as a trainer I like to know what other people are doing, but seriously, look at you!

That's so funny because my wife complains about that a lot. She works in the wall RIGHT behind the bathroom so he sees who comes in and can hear EEEEEVERYTHING. She says people come from other buildings far away to come do it there.
