Re: Dwayne Haskins
Agreed. DH is terrible and I won't shed any tears when the team gets rid of him. But Guice is a POS.

Easier to do because of the circumstances...as in easier to cut Guice because he is a piece of shit. But id take him as a football player over dh any day. Thought my first post was pretty clear. Guess not. |

Re: Dwayne Haskins
I assume the team made it a rule or strongly told players to wear a mask when out.
But is there an NFL or team rule that says players cant go to clubs or restaurants? 1. Did he break any written rules? 2. Was it just that he wasnt wearing a mask and if the photos had him wearing a mask then he would be clear? 3. I thought dude was religious, demonstratively praying on the sideline vs 9ers then praising God in his post game presser. I guess thats more image and not a real devotion for him. |

Re: Dwayne Haskins
It was just pointed out to me that this will be the second time Haskins will face discipline for violating COVID protocol. He was fined earlier in the season for inviting a family friend to the team hotel. So i guess now it will be whatever comes next for repeat violators of the COVID protocol.
Dwayne's lack of professional maturity i think is a major issue here. He needs to be gone if he can't shape up. Rivera can't let this go.

Re: Dwayne Haskins
I can't link the tweet because he changed his settings to approved followers only, but Haskins apologized.

Regardless of the punishment which is bound to happen, you just got chin checked by a better team in your one opportunity to prove you deserve a second chance, and you decide to let the steam out by going maskless in a club with some strippers? Anybody who's been to a strip club recognizes those fat cheeks and the stack of singles in Dwayne's hand. The watch party - eh, that was obv. Dwayne's girl and her friends. But Dwayne is gonna get chin checked by the football team and the NFL for going maskless with the strippers. Ron can't cut him right now but it's another red flag for his future with this team.

Re: Dwayne Haskins
Here's the tough part, if Alex isn't able to play this week, WE DO NOT HAVE A QB.
This may save Dwayne for he next week or two, but I guarantee this will burn down any hope of him being here beyond this season. If he actually did this, it's completely reckless, immature and is the exact definition of "conduct detrimental to the team". This is putting Coach Ron in the toughest of spots...he needs a QB for a playoff-clinching game but Haskins has earned a ticket out of town, for numerous reasons.

Re: Dwayne Haskins
Is it possible this team will be rolling with Taylor Heinicke, Steven Montez, and Logan Thomas as the QBs for the most important game in several years?

Gotta go Montez in that situation and get really creative on runs. We could be like Army or Navy and surprise the opponent when we actually throw.

Re: Dwayne Haskins
Dude has been immature since day one.
https://www.si.com/nfl/2019/04/26/dw...-company-brand In hindsight this article seems hilariously fucked up. https://twitter.com/kalynkahler/stat...48080724238336 Look at him walking the red carpet like the Godfather LMAO. Honestly I can't help but blame his parents too, if you read the article it mentions he's been groomed by his family since he was 9. We wasted this pick. Oh well. I was hoping that working with Alex Smith for 2 years would rub off on Haskins and help him learn what it means to be a pro. 50/50 it happens now, but I'm putting 95% odds he's off the team by April.
