Re: Redskins Offseason Thread

Interesting article suggesting that we should sign Breeland to a VFA tender before May 8th to get an improved compensatory pick next year.

wow great find. Plus the Skins were interested in adding another CB, so worst case Bree comes back and competes at a very low salary.

Skins should totally do it.

while i agree it would be a good move - he seems to be a fucking cry baby - the type that if healthy we know will play - but someone who would get snippy over not starting, or someone who would just loaf all the time and ride the bench for a pay day -- i dunno, you would hope not, but, his past behavior tells me otherwise. So while I think they should do it, I hope they dont expect much out of the move lol

Dude...Im there with you. But we were looking for CB in draft, and if one in particular would have fallen in the second round, we would have drafted him.

So it does fill a need...but I think the potential for a trade is great with his low cap number.

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread

The move allows them to trade him on a one year roughly 2 mil deal. That's a steal for a good corner. If he doesn't want to be here or they don't want him, it shouldn't be difficult to find a suitor once he can pass a physical.

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread

I'm fine with bringing Lauvao back as a camp guy to see if he has anything left to offer.

We need bodies at LG. Let him come in and compete, it's better than just counting on Kujo.

I doubt they are counting on Kojo. There is Ty N, Welsh, and more. And they could find a center and move Roullier to guard.

Can't find details of his contract, do we have an idea ? The fact that he wasn't signed by anybody else must have allowed us to sign it on the cheap, doesn't it?

I assume we're not spending big on him, and not guaranteeing much of it either, so yeah, we'll have competition at LG, which is good, I hope Sean Welsh wows every body and wins the job.

Haven’t seen numbers but I suspect you’re right, it must be close to vet min.
