Re: Redskins v. Dolphins Gameday Thread
No way will Indy trade us the top pick so we can take Luck. They will trade Peyton Manning for a king's ransom and then they'll draft Luck. Peyton will then re-injure his neck after a short time with his new team and be forced to retire.

Re: Redskins v. Dolphins Gameday Thread
The best part of going back to Rex is that it allows Shanny to better evaluate our young WR's. Hopefully Niles Paul gets a shot to show his stuff when he comes back from turf toe.

Re: Redskins v. Dolphins Gameday Thread
Luck came back down to earth last night. He didn't look like a "God" vs USC either. Don't get me wrong, he is a top QB coming out of the draft in 2012, but I am not that sold on him. I would have to give consideration to Moore, Keenum, and co also.

Somebody just came in the store I'm working in and burst my bubble regarding the skins game so I decided there's no point in waiting to discuss the game. Sounds like we didn't play that good today.

Luck isn't the savior OKie. Oregon smoked him last night and made him look above average. There is too much QB talent in this class to just want Luck. Luck could be a Brady or a Leinart at this point. Last edited by GusFrerotte; 11-13-2011 at 04:39 PM. |

Re: Redskins v. Dolphins Gameday Thread
I personally would love another trade down, get RGIII (after Luck, Barkley and L. Jones are gone), and have another great 1st 4 rounds draft (see Kerrigan, Jenkins, Hankerson, Helu).
We need a QB yes, but we need young stud O-LINEMEN TOO! Luck isn't going to be THAT much of a God compared to those other 3 in my opinion... Remember everyone said Cam Newton and Andy Dalton weren't going to do anything worthwhile this year either... no one knows for SURE Just say no to Luck! GET picks! Don't give them away! Still get a QB... but get some other pieces too!

I know we won the SB in 1992. But it's not like after that the Cookes just picked up their Lonbardi and handed the team over. But whatever, we were bad then and we're bad now. Can't do anything about the past though

Re: Redskins v. Dolphins Gameday Thread
We lost 20-9 to a previously one-win team. Not playing well would be a correct assumption.

About the only thing left to get excited about is playing Dallass and the Iggles. Lets hope we can beat them.

Re: Redskins v. Dolphins Gameday Thread
Put it this way. What's worse being a Redskins fan or an Eagles fan? Thought so.
