Broken fibula for Chris Thompson. Not only was this game an L on the field, it's also another L for the rest of the year.

Glad the team was able to pick him up with a win, oh wait they shit all over him.

Gruden is a shitty HC and a dumb as fuck OC. Manusky is a bad DC. There's a reason no one wanted him to be hired. We need to bring in a whole new staff. Clean house. Also need to fire Bruce and get real GM. But that will never happen.

I agree. Kind of hard to watch Jay get out coached and outsmarted week after week. Manusky's defense might actually finish the year worse than our defense was last year... To not fire anyone after this type of embarrassment just sends the message that Dan is okay with this type of ineptitude.

I'd fire Gruden today. Let Callahan be the interim HC then wait to after the season and see who the Top 10 defenses are, then hire the toughest nastiest son of a bitch out of those 10 DCs to be HC. Let him hire an actual OC.

Coaches can’t help having a liability like D. Hall on the field cause Nicholson got hurt.

They can help it when the HC is part of the "team building co-council." We knew D.Hall was done last year, and we kept him around not because he's still good on the field, but because they liked having a mentor for the young guys. Well that's all nice and good until you need your mentor to play steady minutes.

I can not believe how bad he was. He can't play anymore. That's two weeks in a row where he's basically played like an old man.

It's the 2016 defense all over again. We have to be able to score 40 points every week just to have a decent shot at winning. We will probably win one of the giants games and lose the rest in wild shootouts. 5-11 this season.

Does anyone get fired I wonder if we tank down the stretch? Jay is probably safe, or is he?

I totally agree. The Skins have scored plenty of points the last 2 weeks to have won but the defense cant stop anyone in crunch time.

I do think this team is very close to being very good and the dumbest thing the organization could do is a major overhaul of coaching and players. That said this organization is always doing dumb things so I fully expect the HC and Cousins to be gone and another rebuild to begin.

This would be a terrible move...I think we are close and I really hope no drastic moves are made outside of firing Bruce Allen, which I would totally be in favor of.

Signing Cousins and keeping him with Jay is the best path forward.

Unfortunately, this is the drastic move that is least unlikely to happen. Looking at the big picture, I can't bring myself to believe that the current FO can continue the path that Scot put us on. Smithers is an empty suit and Doug Williams is a figurehead.

Agreed. I'm tired of the constant merry-go-round of coaches. Gruden hasn't been the worst coach we've had. He's probably had more success in the short term than any of our other coaches not named Joe Gibbs. This season, in my opinion, is all on Bruce Allen. He is the one who needs to be fired. Scot McCloughan needs to be rehired and given full control over player and coaching personnel. He's a true football guy, and a true football guy would've probably had the team better prepared for the rash of injuries we sustained (and still sustaining) this year. I better football guy would've seen value in keeping at least one of two 1000 yard receivers on the team.
